I wonder if the USAF will be requesting to replace those relatively short range 757s soon or if they will wait until the official Boeing 757 replacement is in production.
I think they'll probably switch to the 787 soon. With the 757 out of production it will only get harder and harder to maintain and get parts for the fleet. Also I'm sure they'd like to have upgrades for security, communication, etc
ikolkyo why isn't a 747-200B? I mean the TWO part can easily become ONE. It only takes a heartbeat. The man who is 2 needs the same support that the 1 has. What if 1 dies in a nuclear strike? Can the new 1, formerly 2, launch a retaliatory strike from that plane?
What is to be learned of security in advance of hi profile US VP landing? Six (6) special mission helos precede presuming hi security forces deployed and present the Hi pro VIP arrives. Question...what type of operators deployed from those helos?

+David Hoffman These aircraft have very low cycles compared to a commercial 757. I am sure they will keep them around for many years to come.

Trump is flying C-32s these days. I saw him arrive in Huntsville, Alabama this afternoon in a C-32 like this one.
he is flying whatever is available, they use the C-32 for smaller airfields
