Star's temperature 🌡️: colour 🤔🥵??||

    As a star's temperature increases, as a result of there being more gas in the star - and hence more fuel to burn - it becomes hotter. Its colour changes from orange, through yellow, to white. The hottest stars are blue, with temperatures up to 40,000ºC.
    Star color is a function of surface temperature. If we can heat an object more, we can see that its color gradually turns blue. When we burn a wood, the fire burning next to the wood is blue. As the burning fire moves away from its source, it shifts from blue to red as the particles that make up the flame cool. We can also observe this when we light a lighter or a match. For example, when a match is lit, the fire is blue when it is closest to its source. However, as it moves away from its source and encounters the relatively low temperature in the air, it gradually loses its temperature, turns from blue to white, from white to yellow, and from yellow to red, and disappears. The light of hot stars is blue, and that of cold stars is red. The color of the star is determined by the amount of nuclear reaction in the core region. Since this reaction is too much in big and hot stars, the star heats up proportionally and its color changes from red to blue (respectively, red, yellow, white, blue). . . . . .

      "Violet stars are of two temperature ranges: those whose Planckian peak wavelength lies between 380 and 450 nm, or 6700-7900 K temperature and those above the violet range in the ultraviolet that appear violet to blue in color.
      For example, A spectral type stars range in temperature from 7600 to 11,500 K. The violet stars are F3 (F3-F0) to A5 (A9-A5)."
      Blue stars are in uv peak so above the violet/purple and also neutron stars (milion degrees) are blue

      @vibhav6551 Před 5 měsíci

      @unosuyoutube7866 then you are going beyond the colour. The uv rays aren't visible at all. It just appears blue because at the 315-400 nm, because at this point, a tinsh of blueness/violetness remains. Below that which is hoter doesn't have any colour.

    • @genzo_graphics
      @genzo_graphics Před rokem +13

      As the temperature of a Black body( say star) increases, the value of wavelength(that it emits maximum in number) decreases.
      As we know the wavelength of red is more than blue so as the star with more temperature will emit (Maximum in number) the radiation of less wavelength (here blue).
