These colonial houses are beautiful .. they have a soul and fascinating history that modern buildings lack .. the area looks calm and quiet .. my kind of neighborhood, lol .. however, not being a city boy, I still prefer life somewhere in the country .. in the middle of nowhere, but that seems to be impossible in the Dominican Republic where people are literally everywhere :)) Great tour as always! 👍
Thanks for the feedback! You're completely wrong about not being able to find your ideal place "in the middle of nowhere" there are PLENTY of beautiful spaces to explore in a rural setting, even in Santo Domingo city!

Can u pls give me the most current law; re: purchasing property by non-citizens. My understanding is that as a non-citizen u’re not prohibited from buying, ur just going to price plus 50%. Is this still in effect?

Gazcue is close to zona colonial and about 30 mins from the airport

@@Kedsoreal Gazcue is the closest to the colonial zone, but other nearby sectors are La Esperilla, and el Vergel
