Welcome detectives to a night of murder and mystery.
During a celebration of the Winter Solstice, a murder occurs at Brockburn House, home of the Stanhope family. Four suspects are being held for questioning for the murder of Harriet Stanhope, lady of the house. Can you help Detective Schofield to solve the case?
Enjoying a script written by the bestselling crime author Ann Cleeves, participants will watch witness statements, read the Scene of Crime Report for clues, and try to deduce who among the suspects is the killer.
Those who secured Eventbrite tickets before Wednesday 24th February 2020 will receive an email by Detective Schofield ahead of the event, including a copy of the full Scene of Crime Report to accompany the investigation.
If you’ve joined us late then the clues will be available during the viewing, so you won’t miss out on any of the fun.

Beautifully done young lady.! I have truly enjoyed your performances in all the various roles. I look forward to seeing more from you. I truly hope you do more whodunits, and other mystery as this was great fun. Greatest of luck in all you do
This was so good! Love this!
Aw bless them, they tried their best and that showed all the way through it! I appreciate they're learners but I'm sure they'll get to grips with the acting and audio, but in a world thats gone a bit crazy, isn't is amazing to see people who aren't actors, just put on a display for our amusement? Well done the lot of them!
Ok
Love Vera! Nice production everyone.
Chicago area. Missed it but loved this presentation and hope there will be another. Perhaps a YA mystery?

This reminds me of a murder mystery play my partner and I went to see one Christmas. It was such good fun that I looked for others like it over the years but no luck so far.
The music drove me away! Ghastly😬
Oh, those are the event-games, like cosplay or roleplay, when people meet to play thru murder cases or ghost-stories! Lovely idea, in a bloody murder kinda way. 🤗
i give up -- audio bad music playing.
I'm a fan of BBC murder mysteries! The USA.
I read the book but thought this was a very nice recap. I’m in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Love this. Philadelphia Pennsylvania

Poor audio. Sorry
Audio is horrible, be in a small room for better audio or enclose the speaker. The 30s, 40s, 50s radio series had better audio than what they have today, so many sounds muffled.
Too close to the microphone.
Hey ass. what does YOUR PODCAST sound like?📕 when you posted your play what did YOURS sound like? ❄

From America ya! If you like Americans. Never figure out who did it 🤔 Enjoy the process. Here's to the the methodology. Thank you.
No, not fair at all. You can't disclose the killer Before you introduce a vital piece of evidence, 90% of the way through the story!! Give us a fighting chance!
Personally, I suspected the bolshie son-in-law. If ever there was a fish-out-of-water...
Nice concept though. Nothing wrong with the music, just a bit loud. Could have done without the running timer.
I'll look for other videos of this nature, and explore your other offerings. Thanks.
Your name is NOT Detective Scofield. Your name is Scofield. Detective is your rank in the police 🇬🇧

Women being men just doesn't work. Could you not find a man?
Jeez. Worked ell enough.
You guys should state if it's a true story or not I don't understand how people go through all that trouble to post books online and forget to mention important facts . there are many viewers who only listen to stories which are based on true facts if it's fiction or non fiction. If it does not say non fiction or based on true facts than I won't listen even if its is based on true facts I won't listen because they won't mention either way which makes no sense to me. People are more interested in true stories than made up stories. The green river story I know is a real story but the guy posted the audio didn't even mention if it's a true story ..tottaly unreal the common sense on some people
This is an Ann Cleeves mystery, a very popular mystery novelist - fiction. Agatha Christie books have sold far more than any other books ever, in any country, except the Bible. Many people dislike true crime & prefer cozy mysteries. To find out which something is & read a plot summary, we can always just do a quick web search on a title. It does say "a country house murder mystery" & it shows a magnifying glass, both clues that it's mystery fiction. Also it was produced by a local library not a reality tv station. Another clue. It was made for people who like to have a clue & solutions rather than regurgitated news cast as entertainment or, the wisdom of an author's insights as opposed to giving attention to those who act out, irl, the lack of wisdom & values that leads them to perpetrate actual crimes. And had those low individuals bothered to read Christie, Peters, Marsh, Francis, Bradley, Grimes, or nearly any author, they might perhaps have learned some essential truths instead of stooping to the tacky depths actually committing crimes represents. But Christie et al teach the rest of us how to be especially perceptive, observant, shrewd, compassionate, brave, and conscientious. I good naturedly propose the possibility that true crime teaches the opposite, & normalizes it rather than portraying its nemesis & the strength & intelligence of the best in human nature. Everyone has an opinion. I'm just illustrating that opinions are not all in the same genre, & that mystery fiction serves not just as entertainment but as education, not only in morality but in psychology & humanity. It's an essential genre & as much in demand as ever & if it's true crime you enjoy instead, you'll find it will be specifically labelled as such, not as labelled here. ✌️
