As a child, I was taken to a church and remember the singing, shouting, and praising of God. Today, it seems that some churches don't have the same spiritual welcoming. Thank God for memories.
It's all about paying tithes, I GREW up in the Mississippi Delta pasters were so men of GOD, I came to California 48 years ago,we joined 3churches,operated by devils. I know have church in my room listening to gospel music.

I do genealogy work and have his kids listed on my tree, but don't actuallyknow them. They called him Punch, he was originally from Pickens, MS then moved to Belzoni, then in 1969 we move to Indianola, MS. He is my great great uncle. I lived in the house with him until I was 10 and I moved with my mom, Willie Mae ( who is his oldest niece) My mother and grandmother once lived with him and his wife Ida. The raised 4 generation in my family but they had no biologicalchildren. My daughter stay with them up until he died in 1990.

My grandmother was a choir director and played piano at our church for over 50 years. I use to watch her sit on the porch playing this song on her radio all the time. I can’t listen to this without seeing her sitting on that porch looking out into the distance.
