I think Dan would have a good laugh at this! His second hand car bit the dust just months after he bought it and has yet to be be replaced. He works alone renovating that falling down chateau so there’s no budget for any helping hands. And he gets so excited about acquiring a new tool that he can turn the purchase into a video of its own. I don’t think he could tackle the reno without CZcams but it’s definitely pay as you go and mostly accomplished by the sweat of his brow. His income is nowhere near your estimate. I think the only thing you got right is that he’s a Brit who speaks fluent English with a British accent. Good grief!
as a CZcams myself, with a small channel compared to Dan admittedly , I can assure you this is a load of rubbish

It is important to abide by the legalities of the partnership because it affects not only mundane things like tax but also property rights and inheritances. Dan is sensible enough to know French law.
There is something not matching up here. Dan appears to not have enough money to even have a vehicle that runs for more than a few weeks - are you implying this is all an act ?. I don’t think so. -

It IS a dangerous ruin, and we watch it because if there is an emergency someone worldwide would surely notice and get help. Dan explained it is designated a chateau because there was one on the original site. France doesn't change slowly or on a whim...so a chateau it remains in the books of the everlasting bureaucracy in France.

You must be smoking good weed to guesstimate what they make per year. Even though they are a creator on this platform, unless you can substantiate your estimates it is wise to keep this to yourself. CZcams does not pay as much as you might think and you could be placing him and his family at risk of a crime by stating the truth.

To be absolutely outspoken...Young man with very little money puts sweat, blood and tears into restoring a half ruined cottage. As soon as he finished all the hard work 'Wifey" clears off with the kids leaving the man homeless. There are too many women who split and take the kids, some are lowly people , some are aristocrats and royalty, but it really angers me that they marry, or in this case 'shack up' , take all the kudos and goodies and then decie to abandon the marriage.

@@valmatthews9117 Absolutely! None of my business as to why, but I did not ask why. But there is a problem now with women leaving a relationship with children. It does in many ways impoverish children. The experts tell us that children survive a parent's death better than a divorce. Dan will eventually finish his chateau, he will send all the bad memories packing and he will have built something beautiful out his pain. He said the chateau saved him, not the other way round, I believe that. I only hope the other people I know in his situation find balm in a worthwhile and all consuming project too; one of them also owns a chateau and the other a palace, but hearts are easily broken. Rebuilding houses is sometimes a good thing to ease your soul that is also the reason we love Dan and care greatly about his boots, masks and scaffolding that belongs in a play room not on a dangerous building site. @@markoredano9141 If you look at earlier posts you will see his absolute desolation and him saying that he was now officially homeless. The picture of his kids sleeping in the car was heartending., Dan himself said although he was saving the ruin it is the ruin that saved him. If he does find someone who doesn't complain and loves him for who he is and not for who she wants him to be, or complain that he is a workaholic then so be it. He looks so much better, he gets a haircut occasionally and has more pride in himself. long live our new Dan! He is a very clever man. he has so many talents and uses them to enrich a lot of people's lives, including me because my days of heavy manual work are over, or almost !
