I love how anime this deck feels, totally reminds me of card captor (and I see you with that FZ ref !!). Really excited for this deck ! It's been on my list since I saw the multiple lovers and it's so exciting that it's finally coming out !! And all those Asian references !! Makes my little Asian heart super happy. Oh! Looks like the Suit of Chalices depicts the story of Little Mermaid ..totally didn't watch that! I guess I was more familiar with the fluffy Disney version 🤣🧜♀️🐠
i just got this deck and it’s one of my favourites. i feel like all the references to folktales and fairytales really leave a lot of room for symbolism and new interpretations not to mention the art is stunning.
I'm not sure if any one else mentioned this, but the whole deck actually seems to have fairy tale themes. Obviously, we saw Peter Pan in the Wands. In the cups it basically represented the whole story of the original tale of The Little mermaid and even looks similar to the 1975 Japanese version. The swords is the only one that I don't recognize any (at least western) fairy tale influence. I love how dreamy and soft this whole deck is. It really does feel like an old story book. I'm really thinking it's going to be the next deck I buy 💕💖
I love the fact that there is four lovers cards, I don't always read lovers as being lovers but like you I just like the idea, I think it could be interesting to keep all of them in the deck and see which one is going out since the imagery is kinda different. The work on the suits is really awesome
Been following Trungles for years now! I own the Twisted Romance comic he drew and I cannot wait for this deck!! I voted for the red backing but it didnt win ):
i love everything about this deck except for the suit of chalices. it seems incongruous with the rest of the deck... and the lack of chalice symbols that correspond with the pip number is frustrating.

Hi, Kim. 😊 Wonderful video. The artwork of the deck is really cute. I wanted to let you know, I got my first tarot deck! When I talked to you last year, I was just using a lot of tarot apps. Lol. But now I feel like my tarot practice has flourished since I'm using a physical deck. 🙂 I also have a few tarot journals I'm working in - one for Benebell Wen's "Holistic Tarot," one for your e-book "The Adventurer's Guide to Tarot," and I'm making a tarot journal with spreads only. I have 3 journals going at once, and I feel like a madwoman. Lol. 😄
@@FablesDen I got the Mary Hanson-Roberts tarot deck. 😊 I'll work my way up to getting more tarot decks sooner or later. Lol. I feel like the Mary Hanson-Roberts deck has a lot of light energies to it. It's an easy beginner deck. 😍😊
@@FablesDen I like it very much. 🙂 I like the fact that the artwork is in colored pencil, which makes the energy of the deck seem more light-hearted. I think the Knight of Pentacles looks derpy though. 😂
Could you kindly just hold the cards in front of the camera while you’re looking through them? When you’re going through the cards, half of the card is almost blocked and im unable to get the full view of the artwork!🥺 I hope you can do it❤️

Thank you for the sneak peek on this deck. After watching this it goes on the "maybe" list. It's gorgeous, I love the art style and colors, but it seems juvenile to me. But maybe it's an "exploring your inner child" deck. But frankly, my inner child was never that young....ha. I'm looking forward to deep dive videos on this one before I hit the buy button. I think if you'd don't know the tarot meanings very well, that guide book isn't going to help you learn. Not a beginner deck, IMO. But it will be wildly popular because it's so "cute"
Perhaps the kings being animals are reference to the fact men in fairy tales are turned into animals that need to be saved by some outside force 🤷🏽
