I've had the Lambo in my mitts and it's so much better than the images - I'm desperately awaiting the GT40, it's one of my all time fav's........ the Batmobile is my generation so, yeah, that needs to come home too.......too much great stuff!! The Scalextric American Street Duel Race Set looks like a good one if you like American Muscle cars. I believe they are set exclusive cars as well and only sold in the US.
I just bought a scalectrix pro platinum gt. The cars are too fast and even the pace car are too fast. I broke 1 car already because of the speed.Can someone help me with these problem. Thank you so much.
Aaah mate, your timing is perfection and please don't worry there is a reason your cars are running like stabbed rats.
Firstly, I'm releasing a three party review on this exact set today, maybe tomorrow as I'm pending Scalextrics approval.
On your power base there is a little switch on the left hand side, this is to switch between analogue and digital. If your car has a digital chip in it, which your four cars do then it works as follows.... When you drive in digital mode the car gives you 80% power so that when you are in game and gain enough to get a boost (kers) you can activate a turbo boost for the full 100% of power.
If you have the powerbase set to analogue mode (the switch closest to the track), and you have a digital chip in the car you will get full power.
If you grab an older car (any brand) and use this on your track in analogue mode the experience will be as you remember it.

from my observational skills and the 2023 catalogue that i have and just looked at side by side with this review nothingis really new just a few colour changes but sets are the same the cars are the same. only set thats not in the 2023 catalogue is the rally set this is dissapointing in my opinoin.

@@trackfanstv yeah definitely Pete your spot on on that one why no Audi lol I will say though I do like the look of the Rally set , these companies bug me if you went into a restaurant and I gave you the menu then said oh half of it ain’t available we’ll email you when we are ready you’d get up and walk out you’d loose interest or find someone that can provide what they have offered. No point making catalogues of products that are only available when the company decides that’s not what customers want or pay for. Your probably be better at wording this to them than me lmao 🤣
@@TEGSLOT-RACING I think they've learnt from years gone by which is why they're doing the first two quarters before moving forwards. I'll mention that they need to pull their socks up on getting audi's ledge 💯🔥🔥
