I just started camping in my Flex and I love it. I haven’t used the roof for anything- that is such a great idea ! The bungees and net to hold extra things and watch movies sounds great

I love my Flex it is all wheel drive and has a tow package so I can even tow our tiny trailer. We got bench seats on both back rows so no empty spot. Not as much storage.
True, But our 2011 Limited had the 2nd row center console in the middle so we lost that storage too and had plenty of space to do what we wanted to do. Just don't overpack! 😊

We just climb in the second row doors from each side.

I was hoping y’all would have gotten in as if you were going to bed, not any headroom I’m sure but that’s ok I’ve measured the back of our flex with the front seats forward as far as they go and it’s 6ft 8 inches, plenty of length room for my 6 ft 4 in husband. I wish the second row seats were not angled up like they are, we could have put our heads at the other end that would be easier for us to get out of the car.
The room isn't too bad at all. Actually prefer getting in from the side doors. Then you each have access to get out etc easily. Also don't have to use the key that way to open the back door.
As far as the slant it's easy to park at a slight downgrade which makes it level I have two levels on the side of the Flex to ensure that.
