In my opinion I think match point format gives you the feeling similar to a world cup finals or any other sporting finals. Of course if yorue invested it is even more so which is what I think is really cool about it. Even at home watching it youre on the edge of your seat and for me I was rooting for ascend to take it in Birmingham so I was a little sad but seeing it fall to tsm Vs ascend as last two was intense.

Great info and insight on the Pro-Series. Sadly, MLG was NOT the birth of competitive gaming. That goes to Evo Championship Series. Started as Battle by the Bay (B-Series) in the late 90s.

My favorite ALGS highlight is when TSM-Hal was shouting “I’m cheating, I’m cheating” that was a history event and embarrassment for Apex
