  • Christopher Lloyd isn’t actually hunched over like his character is. Doc’s hunched over look was created due to the difference in height between Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox. Christopher is 6’1”, but Michael is only 5’4.5”. Robert Zemeckis used specific blocking to make the two of them stand far apart at different camera depths. During their close-ups, Lloyd had to hunch over so that he appeared in frame with Fox. Also, Eric Stoltz had to be fired from the cast as his aggression during scenes with Tom Wilson almost resulted in Tom getting his collarbone broken during the cafeteria fight scene.

      @@dibsdibs3495 i never said he wasn't aggressive. it was NOT the reason for being fired is all i said which makes the statement NOT true. he was fired just because he wasn't right for the part in general.

    Eric Stoltz is too serious an actor to play Marty. He also looks older. Definitely miscasted. Although I would like to see the movie with Eric in it to see the difference.
