Episode 03 of Charity Falls is finally here, in this Episode we see our Spartan 719, Maddox, fight his way through the flood inside High Charity on his recon mission for the artefact.
But what awaits inside for him is more than the UNSC bargained for....

Honestly I think its cuz its 8k xD I mean the other 2 got 150-200k views I think. Granted they were shorter, and granted thats STILL not as much fame as these deserve, it could possibly be a factor.
Well it's nowhere near the quality of something like Astartes. The Spartan just looks so slow and weightless to me.
It's almost like a metaphor with the Tank yeeting the spider infector. Like how bungie scrapped it's design but added the Tank instead in Halo 3.
Pretty sure 343 added the spider ones in Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare
Yes but it was those spider infectors were originally Halo 2 concept art/cut content.

You know, because a Gravemind shows up in this. That would mean the Gravemind yeeted the spider just cause it felt like it. It could've just had it move out of the way

I said it before and I say it again. That spartan dodge a FREAKING ROCKET FROM A ROCKET FLOOD at almost point blank rage. You know how hard is it to dodge one of those in game in levels like the library or two betrayals? in fairness blur studios should hire you

The way you have animated the flood makes it feel like what they would look like in a H3 anniversary. Damn you’ve done a mighty fine job here and I’m excited to see more. I’m sure 343 will notice this someday.

I think the 2nd half of the main action was, since it was a lot more smoother and faster, dunno much but i feel like mocap would've been used starting at 2:32
Some better camera work would also work well, but yeah mocap would really help

Made within a year, with less than several thousand dollars by a single guy. Still better than a show that took several years and 200 million dollars.

It’s amazing getting to actually watch a Spartan fight without the camera cutting in and out. If I remember right, the only time we saw a full fight with Spartans was Halo Wars 1

Wow. The Spartan's movement, the camerawork, the way the sounds echo and travel, all of it is amazing. I retain my previous complaint that it sort of sounds like the Spartan, a half-ton block of metal and muscle, is made of plastic when they step, but other than that it's absurdly good. Keep up the good work, and don't let minor complaints or issues hold you back from what you think is best for it (after all changing sounds midway through would be jarring anyways). Highest praise: absolutely amazing showcase of the different flood forms in all their gory glory, including the environment. Also, the UNSC and covenant technology showcased was used in the best ways possible and is shown in its proper forms as well, great job. And the music stings, they're top-tier, I wish I could do something like that. Details such as the energy sword's handle retaining all of its weight and the blade not affecting that, or the mist coming off of the blade, just top it all of flawlessly.
Particularly, the Gravemind's personality - the way it talks, the way it shows intelligence and curiosity (knowing its trapped, particularly), and the way it decides to let the spartan come talk to it, face to face as it were, is very nice to see.

That was a very smooth feeling fight scene, I needed to watch it a few times to catch everything due to the lighting, but it makes sense for a flood infested ruin to be that dark, and rewatching this is hardly a terrible fate.

Amazing. I love that the gravemind actually spoke to him, calling him reclaimer too. Its so great. Dude the rocket flood dodges were insane. Ive been waiting for this for so long and you didnt disappoint. I went back and watched the first two again too.

Whoever this may be is insanely talented and has produced one of if not the best Halo cinematics by themselves and also is keeping more to the original music and art direction than anything after Halo 3. Thank you so much for your work and dedication to this project, this is Halo storytelling at its best. Imagine this in movie format, so much potential!

In this case, since it was a Spartan II specifically, they wouldn't feel
much due to the enhancements they went through as kids. Some of those
enhancements included emotional suppressors so that they could more
easily complete suicidal missions instead of breaking down in the middle
of them since, y'know, they cost about as much as an entire
battle-group of star-ships at this point in time. If it were Spartan
III's it'd be a similar story, maybe a bit less so since they underwent a
lot less augmentation due to being the "mass-produced Spartan" but they
also had a special drug pumped into them that increased the production
rates of their adrenal glands so they could enter what was called
"Spartan-Time" during times of duress, so that also argues into their
favor. Spartan IV's would likely be the most terrified since it was the
first program to take volunteers instead of kidnapping children or
abducting people in general, so they didn't have the ability to enhance
them nearly as much. But there are Spartan IV's that are specifically
for Flood containment, so if those ones were in this situation, then
they might be alright.

i love how it uses the old shotgun model instead of the newer models due to the fact the shotgun from halo 2-3 should be within High Charity
And also I think the original designs are miles better than the later ones for the shotgun :)

The amount of attention to detail, is some of the best animation I've ever seen, let alone this being a one person studio. The visuals, cinematography, and viewing angles were as perfect. It's incredible how one person can do this, when teams of animators work day and night and can't achieve the half the amount of detail this guy has.
I cannot believe i am just now finding this channel and these videos. This is the absolute best unofficial content i have seen.

The action is fun and you do a great job representing the disgusting, desperate horror that is the flood.
Said it before and I'll say it again. CG is truly magic.
With pride, there are many curses. With humanity, there are many blessings.
God rewatching these and seeing the passion and drive that went into this creation and project, the subtle nods to RVB and normal halo themes such as jumping and just making it as a nod to the series and us fans is amazing not to mention how powerful a single Spartan can be against hordes of flood but still how dangerous the flood are to even Spartans. Well done still better than the TV show and it’s second season just started dropping.

This is exactly how I would picture a SPARTAN fighting the Flood. This feels like it's taken out of a book, there's so much detail going on here; the sounds and dark ambience, the little to no light throughout the crashed ship, making the whole environment that much more tense on top of great graphics. You really deserve whatever great things that are coming your way, and they will be. Count on it, because this is f***ing spectacular.
That was so good. That 6 minutes felt like I just watched a half hour show.

this is incredible, the only single issue i have is the sounds. Most of it is perfect. But that grenade was super quiet, and some moments seem like a whisper when they should have some solid sound to it
