ABANDONED HOSPITAL - we found HOSPITAL DOCUMENTS dating 1970s

Stanmore Hospital - Zachary Merton Ward 🏥🩻
Today we explore a derelict hospital ward situated close to the active Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London.
Bit of history -
Zachary Merton Ward opened in 1936 with 44 beds.
The facility was used for recovering patients with tuberculosis and at a later date used to treat scoliosis.
The building now sits in a very rough state, seeming to been left abandoned for a very long time.
Parts of the explore were very sketchy, all areas damp, mouldy, rotten wood and unstable.
Though the building falling apart, we still found some hospital equipment, beds / furniture left and hospital equipment.
Definitely an eerie explore especially when visiting in the dark.
