Passport validity must be more than 6 months is applied for travelling to all countries, not only China
Not all countries but yeah for most
In the uk it’s actually three months
This is the first time I'm hearing that. When I went to the Netherlands this year, I travelled with a passport that expired the day after my return...then again maybe as an eu citizen it's less strict
The fact we need our id to be shown and recorded at these places just to get a hotel room or train ticket is wildly atrocious on our confidentiality. The tracking around really won’t make me feel safe
@@YukiSatagawa, you haven’t been traveling across countries
There are local and native hustlers everywhere in China no matter where you go. I am Hainaneese and have not been to Hainan Island in a long time. I went back in 2019 , and when i landed in Sanya , i took a taxi, so i started speaking Hainaneese to the driver. Turned out he was not Hainaneese at all , he was just a mainlander that spoke only Mandarin. He was just there driving taxi, it's just a job for him.
装什么大以巴狼?
So the know exactly where you are at any time
So, what is your problem? Isn't it common in all cities?
What's the problem? Most people in ALL countries go where the jobs are.
What’s ur problem? Can’t people work in another city or you think you are superior than the others?
AND!!!
At pedestrian crossing Cars do NOT give way to pedestrians!!!!
I nearly got run over by taxi in the first hour in china!! 😂
that’s the case for most places
@@pastafour3717mostly Asia, in Europe cars have to let pedestrians cross
@@SupbarXD really? The only european country I have visited is Italy, I assumed it would be the same in much of Europe.
Try indonesia.. U can be jedy have a force to stop a car with one hand...
@@pastafour3717Dude.. Europe has 44 countries... You can't be so stupid as to think things are done the same in all of them.
There's currently a TWO weeks China VISA free policy for certain countries (amongst them the Netherlands)
China have a lot beautiful attractions, one on my bucket list to visit.
If you are a citizen of Serbia you have visa free travel 🇷🇸 of course, there is a limited amount of days you can stay but no need to go to the embassy if you are a tourist for a couple of weeks (I’m from Serbia and went on a tour in China, really awesome!)
Wow, glad you commented!❤❤❤ I would also want to travel to Serbia one day. love this beautiful country 🇨🇳 🇷🇸
Is that a holdover from yugoslavia?
@@recmuralartcommission1993 not exactly, our current President Vucic has built very good relations with China, so the countries agreed on visa-free travel for tourists between them back in 2016 (smart guy). But in the past China and Serbia always had good relations, probably because of Yugoslavia - then, again Yugoslav had good relations with pretty much everyone.
As far as I know you get a visa from the police actually not from the embassy
@@lanarey7687 I got it at the Beijing airport at the passport control
Thanks! Im going to china in november or december.
欢迎来中国
me too.😍
hey, did you guys end up coming to China? I need people who can speak English to hang out with😂
@@moagimengo3493tell me how thebpeople are towards black people, im not black but im curious because i read lot of things on intrrnet
@@moagimengo3493im going soon
i hope you can make a complete guide video of what you have to do when you arrived in china for the first time
First time, better go with a tour group. If u don't know Mandarin, u will have headache more than enjoyment if u travel on your own. Also, when eating food different from your culture, be careful as one may get diarrhoea. So prepare your medicine kit too in case emergency.
Alipay and 高德 map is necessary!
If you have T mobile its free for text and cLl and 10bucks for Internet is super fast in China. Like crazy fast.
Good to know . Thank you!
Well, showing the taxi driver your hotel room card is reason within itself they'll take you for a long wild ride 😂😂
This is my china,
Thank you because I’m going to China tomorrow ❤
Thank you Mia 😊❤I hope I can go someday
i mean the funny thing is recently china is offering 15 day visa free entry for select countries this year.
Not anymore, currently a bunch of countries excempt:) As a foreigner living in HK this is amazing news
I love all the information you give, and you're voice is amazing and so clear
i went back and fourth china !!! its beautiful ...
Taxi's are the same everywhere once I was a tourist I took a cap and told him the destination which was pretty close he took me around unnecessary loop when I asked why he didn't go straight from the bridge he said the bridge broke 😂 I was like wtf
they do same thing to me,a nativer
Taxis will never do this in Japan. They will even confirm with you the route taken to see if you have other preferences, which is awesome.
You do not need a visa beforehand if you are using the 144 hour transit visa, which can be obtained on arrival.
❤ incredible China 🇨🇳 ❤
The USA 🇺🇸 should also require this
For every country they should want the same thing required of the U.S.
No
Woah, these seem like actually good tips!
Nice info ,thanks
Isn't there a 144-hour transit visa?
You did not include that not all hotels can take foreigners, and often can make reservations at such hotels, and not know that you cannot stay at the hotel when you arrive. This happened to me.
I want to visit China its on my bucket list. I will surely visit China one day. Thank you 🫶🫶
Thanks!!!💐💐💐💫
Until November 2024 Spanish, Hungarian and some other European countries citizens can stay visa free up to 15 days.
Thanks for this
Ooooh Saturated images look so pretty. Very inviting. No I'm good thanks.
You have forgotten the most important thing: to get a vpn before entering China!
Why?
@@MrDextrator Because certain apps like Whatsapp, Google, FB etc are banned and can't be accessed without a VPN. That's why a lot of locals there install VPN to access international contents.
@@ymhktravel exactly. I think it's common sense😂
Use a VPN or activate international roaming from your country's SIM card
Certain countries like Germany or France have no visa requirement for traveling up to 15 days in China. This rule is valid until 31. Dec 2025. Passport validity should be more than 6 months, thats also correct.
Taking passport is necessary for checking in at hotels or taking a train or flight. However for daily activities like the Museum it is in my experience enough to have a photo or a copy of the ID page with you. The exception might be Beijing because of increased Security around Tiananmen Square.
But in general I left my Passport at the hotel most times.
My last advice: Learn Chinese 😂 it is so much easier to get around and you will enter a totally new world. People might be even more welcoming and friendly
Gut Info.
Very bad information. China offers "visa free transit" for up to 144 hours, that's 6 days, in specific large cities, arriving by plane, if you are from certain countries, including the U.S.A. This is arranged on arrival.
And for the visa you need to show an already payed return ticket and a plan how you want to travel (transport) and where and in which hotels you want to stay. When I told the wan that I might won't to stay one or two days longer in Nanjing, she became upset and "offered" me to rethink my plan and apply again after finding out what I would like to see.
Applying for this trip was harder than my school exams...
But the trio was really nice, the people so helpful and friendly and changes were possible. But better apply prepared with a schedule.
Your awesome and awesome video be safe out there ❤😎👍🙏
Everything was perfect and in check. Still, from our group of ten people, my husband was told that he was not allowed to leave the airport. No explanation was given, ever(we politely asked, but none, nada). That was our first and probably last visit to China xD
So be prepared for anything and everything.
It's very easy to go to China from my country!
Singaporeans now enjoy visa-on-arrival for 30 days in China. Likewise for Chinese citizens coming to Singapore.
2 weeks visa are granted for french at the arrival
In Greece and Turkey you MUST negotiate taxi price before you start off! 😂
In hindsight I could have been better prepared before coming to China to study, but so far it's alright
Great information, thanks. 非常感谢您提供的宝贵信息和指导。祝好运!
I got a visa on arrival last year...
Those sounds like things I'd tell someone to do when visiting NYC 😂. Especially the "try not to seem to new" 😂.
Hi! I’m visiting Shanghai & Suzhou in June, and I heard that ever since covid tourists have to indicate their intention to visit local attractions/do some prebooking. Wanted to ask which website/link this is done at?
Have also heard that many foreigners have issues filling up the relevant details for booking, due to limitations of inputs…
Raise the red lantern !
Also be prepared for boredom with the amount of TRAFFIC- (I’m Chinese/Japanese so I know this so TRUST me)
You will literally die if not-
NOT ALL INFO ARE RIGHT. You can check - there are 144 hours Visa on arrival in many airports!
Is there e-sims cards available on apps ? Or obligated to buy physical card when arrived ?
Beware of scams in china.
Don't leave your drinks unattended.
Run if a pretty lady approaches you.
Oh thank my stars I have a great translator and guide- my mother lol
😮😮😮
Know the basic laws as well.
my next trip is tokyo in a few months after that shanghai come 2025
Except for airport, are there other places where you can buy sim cards? Last time I didn't find places in Shanghai...
For my Passport I don’t need a visa (German one)
"China doesn't offer visa on arrival so you have to prepare in advance"
Laughs in chinese passport
Nice ❤❤😊
I knew they did in Shenzhen....
Does China still not support E-sims?
which country is supporting e sim?
Useless info, whats said in this video goes about every other countries.
Pro tip:
1)get your Alipay downloaded on your phone and your life would be so much more enjoyable
2)get a VPN before entering China
Then you are good to go 😊
Now make a video on how to get out of China once you are there.
Yep. Fall asleep in a taxi and get driven on a 30 minute detour
It's a beautiful dangerous country
Just book with local Uber, they must follow the app's route
I love that she is not speaking English with an American accent. She’s much classier that way.
Basically he's a normal taxi lol
*Google's Fi network works in all of China*
And it cheap.
Agreed on keeping your passport with you 24/7 even if you are taking shower..Bring it with you in the bathroom..Period..
My visit was wonderful. I was there back in early 2000's.
Also, be ready to fill out the longest visa application form ever, several pages. Longer than any other country I've ever been to. With very invasive questions like your parents information (DOB, job, ...). Even including a doctor's certificate of your health! VERY invasive information collecting going on. NOT necessary for just a tourist. And when you arrive in China, be ready to have your fingerprints scanned and face picture taken. I'm not joking.
Chinese state media,
literally warning you
not to be taken advantage of by the locals
我爱你,而且你好美丽!!
Why do you need your passport to visit museum?
Also you can’t watch CZcams in China or use google
China seems beautiful. I wish to go someday but I’m afraid I won’t fit in because I’m a foreigner 😭(not to be racist)
Purchasing train tickets? I just scanned
My wechat pay?
So basically it's like going to Myanmar? 😅
I love to see china but dont5 want to visit her beauty,
Sealed bottled water doesn’t mean it’s clean, it can be from local waterways, rivers, or a hose hooked up to a house.
Hmmm ... I'm white and don't speak Chinese, i think it might be difficult to pass as a lical.
🇨🇳🪳
And….international internet access is limited.
Taxi drivers the same the world over
I luv it when you look at me like that 😻🥰
很多城市根本不至于宰客好吧,别来这胡说八道好吗
Also make sure you bring your own toilet paper!
You forgot to tell us to make we didnt make defamatory remarks against the CCP or we could be arrested.
American spotted
Is it me or does she sound Australian?
I won't come to China 😂😂😂😂
People make visas on arrival? I thought that's something tou have to do before going to the country. And kmagjne arrivmng and getting rejectet what a waste of money. That wouldn't happen if you submitted visa request before arriving so yoy can cancel flight.
Wear a passport belt under your tucked in clothes on the FRONT!
Make sure you don't get taken as political hostage
Ccp agent
Thats why i go to Taiwan instead!
It's no longer true, right? You can now obtain a 144-hour visa upon arrival. This is enough to visit a large city, or a province's highlights. The condition is, you must show your final destination upon the end of the 144 hours. I suggest that you re-do this video to stop spreading outdated info. Not only that, many new additions have been announced for no-visa-needed list.
And dont forget about the great Firewall, your apps aint going to work. Also, taxis can cost more at peak times...nights.
You can get around there with a VPN installed on your mobile or laptop. Local Chinese have been jumping across the Great Firewall ...lol
Also they will install an app on your phone for "security reasons". Youll probably have to wipe your phone after you leave to get rid of the app
Help I’m Chinese, China is amazing especially taxis. The drivers are really nice and they provide water and tissues and much more, they talk to you if you talk to them and they are super friendly. They put music if you ask and you can ask any questions about china, you can show them your address in Chinese and they will know where to go. I love China a lot, visit Hong kong if you don’t want to get arrested but I don’t even know if you do get arrested
Im going to china ( hong kong ) 💀💀💀
@@Cookiestreamname bring a yelloe umbrella
Why yellow?
@@CookiestreamnameI don’t think you need to bring a umbrella, just be careful of the rainstorms and typhoons nowadays
ok. the last dont make sense . if i dont want to visit hong kong i will get arrested cuz i didnt visit it ? is that a rule here ?
