Crown or Frown??: Pokemon Yellow Legacy Hardcore Nuzlocke Ep. 5

Howdy folks, and welcome to a new experience in a game we are very familiar with: Pokemon Yellow Legacy! This rom hack takes the game we all know and love and flips it on its head, giving the game a necessary face lift while keeping the Gen 1 experience as true to 1997!
It all comes down to this. Do we falter like last series? Or do we buck up, face the Indigo League and come out the Champion? Only time will tell. Buckle up folks.
We will be attempting a Hardcore Nuzlocke of this game. Rules below.
Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
1. Can only catch the first Pokemon I encounter per area
Exceptions are: Overworld Statics (Sudowoodo, Snorlax, etc.), eggs, gift pokemon
2. No healing in battle
3. Set mode is on
4. If a Pokemon faints, I can no longer use it
5. Nicknaming is optional
6. Have to use the same amount of Pokemon the Gym Leader uses in a Gym battle
