I went with Rogue Rider Led lights. Smoked lens caps. Also, on that rear bumper the reflector pops out and custom dynamics makes a light that fits that. That’s another thing Harley should have done standard.
Every time I see that paint I’m in awe. So bad ass.

@@OkieTwister66 if you search ‘freedom performance’ here on utube one of the videos you’re find is a red fat boy that has the freedom performance pipes on it… Well, during the walk around of the bike, he shows that brake light, and it took me a while to find it as he never replied, back to my questions in the comment section, but I finally found it at custom dynamics. By the way, that’s also the pipe I went with was the freedom performance two into one side turnout. And I copied him as well and went with the Trask air filter.

Thanks... what I do is usually pretty simple stuff. I have fun making the videos. One of these days I will probably look back and get a chuckle from watching them. I have same bike and LED lights. The directions say you have to have a second pop Noise/click when installing so that you know there flush.. Mine were extremely hard to install in housing. Super tight fit. Great video thx
Yeah... mine were very tight, too. But that's a good thing. I had some real difficulty on one of them. The 2nd click is not as pronounced as the first. If you don't have any gaps, it's all good. Thanks for the comment and for watching 🤙

Was about to ask - "why did you not save some $ and go with Custom Dynamics - seems like everyone is using them to save money?!" but decided to go to the website and check pricing for myself. And holy smokes - those prices!!! With that negligible price difference ($10 'savings' if that?), I would also go with genuine HD replacements!
Yeah... I think you answered your own question 🙂 I looked closely at those and some others but you are correct about original HD parts. Since the bike is an anniversary bike, I want to keep with as many original parts when possible, and if I like them.

I tried my damndest to install mine using hand pressure. No freakin’ way were they going in. I finally had to hammer them in with a rubber mallet…per my dealers instructions. First time in my life I even used a hammer on a motorcycle, but there was no other way to get the lenses to click in.

Gotta love that red paint job. In Canada, the 2023 Fat Boys come from factory with those LED signal lights. I have to wonder why it doesn't in the USA. Weird. The LED signals are described on the Canadian HD website and I've walked into a few dealerships and seen them in person and they definitely do have 100% LED all the way around. On my old '09 Sportster 1200 Custom, I installed Custom Dynamics Probeam LED pucks. They work exactly the same and look great, but for sure, they were not cheap. I fit mine with chrome bezels but they also fit with amber, red, clear, smoke.
Thanks for the comment. I am betting Canada may require the LED lights, whereas US does not. And of course, when they can use old style bulbs, there is a market for guys like me to buy the upgraded LED. Just my opinion. In some way it all probably goes back to the almighty dollar. Regardless, I love mine and am glad I have them even though I hated having to pay extra for them. Oh, and I also enjoy tinkering with stuff. Thanks again for the comment and for watching 🤙
in Australia mine came with led in the rear and conventional bulbs in the front!

My Australian fatboy 2023 has LED in the rear. Front is bulb!! Anyone noticed such a build ?
Over here in the US we only get bulbs

Babyray: What is the V&H SKU# for your new pipes?
I have a 2023 anniversary fatboy 114. However on checking the front indicator sockets I found the bulb to be a single contact on the very base and obviously the side cradle is the second connector like a ordinary bulb. However I see the upgrade has 2 connectors on the very base . Why is there a fifference between your bike and mine I'm based in the UK

My only problem is, when I order from HD, the shipping cost is outrageous. But I think I have a probable fix to that now. LOL My good friend and veterinarian for our dogs and cat here in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines has a cousin who's a flight attendant that travels back and forth quite frequently and he told me that he would ask him to help me bring things back here to the Philippines. No question I will give him a nice tip for helping, but it will still be less than shipping. LOL 😊 Will just send it to his US address!!!
Off subject, but he's also offered to get all of my USDA beef and other things brought back by his cousin. He's a really great guy and a good friend!

This is what wrong with HD, in 2023 owners are still having to upgrade too LED lights? LED lights should have come from factory!
