23:12 An absolute classic -- I was born in 81 but visiting a local arcade I remember credits were 10p and I couldn't get enough of it. Only completed it years later!

For me OG Duffy it was Ocean (Daley Thompson Decathlon)& US Gold (Beachhead & Raid over Moscow) back in the Speccy days.

Love the Tetris answer with your dad. I never had the OG gameboy, my mate had it and i nagged him to lend it me overnight, wore him down and he gave in. Me and my 2 brothers were taking turns on it all night. Great memories. Think Mario tennis was the other game on it.

Good Man! Yes I've been a gamer from the interstate programaster 1st gen console (which I still have) to current times. I have a very repectable collection but don't go too mad....the Analogue Pocket means you can now just put that gameboy on display ;)

Just walking in them back in the day was amazing, the lights, the music playing, the game sounds, never thought I'd say this but the smoke in the air and the smells all made it brilliant 😂

Thanks for the reply og, playing arcade games like pac man,space invaders, scramble and phoenix were my earliest memories of arcade, playing near home and on holiday, ultimate play the game title I remember most was knight lore on the amstrad cpc
Knight Lore was a classic game matey..... As were their other titles too. Gunfright was great
Lovely stuff OG. My dear mum used to play Tetris alot as well. Im with you Gameboy is my pure nostalgia and Gargoyles Quest was my absolute favourite. My very first ever console game i played was Double Dragon on the Master System! 😃 Have a great weekend mate 👍

For the C64, there were some great software houses but I did get excited for the latest Thalamus game. Later on, the Half-life and Doom franchises were brilliant.

I used to lose my C64 to my Mum and Dad as they battled each other at Executive Leaderboard. I also kept losing my Double Dragon game, a lad used to convince you to play your game as you were doing it wrong. He used to actually complete it
The C64... What a great computer... I remember saving up and getting one when I upgraded from my Spectrum the leap was amazing especially the sound.
I remember playing Leaderboard... Was a great golf game, lost hours to it matey 😉
Probably important to remember that Ultimate did go onto become Rare, and evolved beyond their close ties with Nintendo during the PS2 era.

My rooms were and still are in Faversham, Kent. Under a different company name now though.
I remember a friends dad got Street fighter 2 on import around the mid 90s… £100. We were amazed at the price and looked after that cart like it was a gold bar.

@@OGDuffy I know. To be fair at about £40 to £50 games are the same price as back in the snes Megadrive days. I remember the games magazines would have adverts for the import games and systems. I so wanted a Neo Geo, but the price was nuts!
I remember being very impressed by Castle of Illusion for the Mega Drive back in the day. I thought the graphics were incredible as was the attention to detail. Never got the same impression by the SNES though.

My dad got me the gameboy in 1987ish I got supermarioland and tetris, I was the only kid in school with a gameboy as it wasn't even released in Ireland yet and my dad who worked in London sent it over. Absolute nostalgia for me ❤❤

Brooklyn used to be great when it was imported from the us. Now it’s brewed like all other mainstream volume chemical beers within the uk and tastes bloody awful!

My problem with gaming these days is that they come out unfinished and need updating, and a lot of them have micro transactions.!!! Unlike when when I was young, the games came finished, no more to pay! I'm 46, so I have been gaming for a while now, been through the Atari years, and now have everything from the Atari 2600 to the playstation 5 but still find the older gaming console are better no updates to wait for. The game developers need to get back to bringing their games out finished and not rushing them out just for a money grab.!!!!
Great point matey... Can remember some game on the 8 Bit computers got shipped broken but with the amount of releases back then was a minor issue. I remember my son really looking forward to CyberPunk and got released and was completely broken !!!!! Shocking how it was even allowed to be released !!!!!
