By the way, my favorite point in Warhammer Age of Sigmar hobby is old fantasy miniatures on modern round/oval bases. It's so ingeniously simple. Whoever gave me this idea twenty years ago... I don't care that GW doesn't make adequate rules for old models in the new game version. The old miniatures are the Legacy, they can't help living in the new Mortal Realms! More importantly, now I's free of the old lore, and it's possible to paint the miniatures in a really crazy way.
You can go pretty wild with Stormcast, I was stuck between this and a host working closely with the Kharadron Overlords which would have borrowed a lot of their steampunk aesthetics and gear. The Steamcast Eternals, if you will. Thanks for watching!
@@punicpainting6580 Also a nice idea. I had an idea of a Stargate inspired conversion. The Stormcast remind me a bit of the jaffa in the series, with their blind devotion and dedication to their "god". Anyway nice video. Like to see more of this :)
@@LenricsRealm It would be a ton of conversion to get the spears into those staff weapons, but with the symbols on the forehead and those staves it would look absolutely incredible.

If GW did this or something similar to a lot of old world factions I might have been more receptive of the setting. Sadly my wood elves and Empire models got thrown into the same faction ;n;
The transition from the End TImes to Age of Sigmar was...not ideal. AOS gets so much better when they throw into the new aesthetic of high fantasy. I would love to see the Cities of Sigmar expand to being more than just the remnants of the old model lines, and luckily it looks like it may be headed that direction soon. Thanks for watching!
That's funny. I myself have some what kinda similar with my Stormcast Eternals. I call them Wardens of Ulric. But in my made up lore my Stromhost comes from Kingdom of Ulrican from Realm of Aqshy. In time of Age of Myth it was ruled by the clans who worshiped Mother Wolf of Winter. That may or may not be some form of aspect of Ulric that survived the End Times. When Sigmar himself visited this kingdom he told them what he remembered about Ulric and thanks for the clans to letting him to remember the old times, he promised them if they need his help, they just have to yell his name to the skies. That time came in Age of Chaos. When forces of Khorne came and destroyed the kingdom. Some people did yelled Sigmar name and as he promised he saved these soul and made his Stormcast Eternals. Now without kingdom, without it's people. This Stormhost is hunting down any Chaos follower to capture them if posible and making them repent, so they can adding them in their ranks as Redeemer Stormcast. Day by day the numder of Redeemed is rising and those of the originally from the people of Ulrican are more and more rare. Ive home brewed my own custom version of the old world at this point where I slowly integrate armies and races that didn’t exist in the old world where it seems appropriate. I miss the special characters that were lost from when I started playing but I think I’ve found a good middle ground for myself and am still hopeful that they will slowly re-add things so I can continue to populate my world.
Absolutely fantastic all the way through. I love the lore you made blending it into modern day AoS and your conversion work is amazing. All put into such a nicely formatted video! Definitely earned a new sub. Can't wait to see more in the future hopefully! :)
