  • When we mention the term 'poor,' we often envision those living in dire poverty. But in today's society, especially in China, a surge of 'New Poor' has emerged. Particularly after three years of stringent pandemic controls and an overall economic downturn, major cities like Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai are witnessing an increasing number of these individuals with limited options.

The problems of consumerism are not unique to China. What sets them appart is how strong the fluctuation of cash has been. They went to riches to rags in months, not even years. When a nation or even an individual chose to live in a net negative manner this becomes the result. You can't get more out of any system than what gets put into it. Unfortunately, this country is trying to thrive on theft, greed, laziness, and corruption. This is not a formula for success. It seems that too many people today seem to gravitate towards the easy. In America especially for middle and lower class people, debt can be easy but to barrow is much harder than in china . In America u have to be already well off to even have so much debt unless it's like student loans or hospital stuff . U won't get to barrow so much and the punishment is just less borrowing haha. In china there is debtors prison apparently although I've never seen it. From what I've seen ,I heard people get black listed in the market ,so like buying a house or car is not longer possible even if u have the means to pay the whole think or like banning u from leaving the province, taking planes or trains. Like the government literally limits freedom when you start owing too much . But plus side is that u can borrow alot from the government with little means to pay it back or credit. U can be broke and borrow.... but I recently learned that china is stuck in an investment lead growth mindset, so it makes sense that anyone can just go to the bank and ask for money.

I make $40k and my wife makes $30k, no kids, one kitty, we can barely afford to rent a basic apartment and choose to rent someones basement in suburbia where the houses that sold for under $100K new in the 1980's are now selling for well over $1 million, but also need a lot of work because they are as old or older than me and were not built like stone castles, out of light wood and drywall, with flaky roofing and siding that has to be replace, painted, windows that leak out gas then get condensation, heavy property taxes, yard maintenance, and the USD keeps weakening making fuel and food more expensive. We spend about $4K per month on food, rent, fuel, insurance, services, all said. I feel very poor even though we make a middle class income, that just does not go very far nearby!

They got lured by the sweet allure of pleasure but got trapped by debt. There will a time in life when spending felt so good but its your choice to live that moment and starve later or livr within your means and live without worries.

GLADLY living below my means as we all should. When Alexander the Great died, he declared that his right should be left uncovered when being viewed, he wanted people to see that even though he had the world in his hands when he was alive, he came into this world with nothing and left with nothing.

Source? Because my history books from school say it was gold with no mention of glass until it was scrapped for coin and remade. He also died near the middle of June in Babylon, aka 50 miles south of Baghdad, so I don't think they would be parading a swollen bloated corpse moments from exploding then entire way from Babylon to Pella. Also, he was not that humble to even conceive of the thought of showing that he was leaving this world with nothing. This is someone that was raised believing he was descended from the gods, conquered the entire known world at that time, and marched his troops half to death through a desert when they wanted to go home.

Africa has a wide range of untapped markets and the Chinese are well accepted here than anywhere in the world when conducting business. You can start off by identifying a country of your interest, know what their trends are and what their day to day life styles are then exploite that to your financial gain. For instance, buy and selling of Chinese smart phones where this you can do it from a hosts house while still trying to find your foothold or better quality ripoff brand garments, handbags, shoes, frangrances and etc. The volatile the country the higher the prospects and right now your eyes should be set on West African nations.

SELLING STUFF IS NOT CAPITALISM!!!!! Capitalism is a social system based on individual rights, including property rights, in which all property is privately owned.
