I thoroughly enjoyed this demo and will buy the full game when it’s released. I stood to watch the large solar panel close when the storm was almost in full swing. A nice touch.

In the starter area on the side you said they would not put something, they do have a secret area. But honestly the walk vs loot is not really worth it unless it plays into his amnesia and is a clue. Glad you’re back!!!

I know you're done with this playthrough... But the engine on the train generates power, the Dynamo isn't essential for the train, it just gives you the opportunity to speed up the recharge of the energy on the train.
41:25 The train is at 500/500 power and generates 50 power per minute (so just under 1 power per second) when not using power, and the train is idle.
42:37 Power is declining because of the speed you have the train moving at. You will be able to recover power passively by running at lower speeds, currently you are using 310 power per minute.
Turning off the engine while the train is moving will force it to come to a stop, but it will not stop immediately. Unfortunately, trains don't stop immediately anyway. You can opt to slow to a stop by using the down speed at engine control (which is also how you can back the train up). The engine takes several seconds to power up and be ready to start moving the train when it has been turned off.
