    You had a good opportunity for Omoplata at 4:04. It might be risky to do on a WB... but your guy seems cool enough.

    Hey my brother ! When you knee cut, try two things - first, try to control their top shoulder. They can’t go anywhere with weight on their top shoulder. I underhook that arm when I can. The second thing you should try is to knee cut and when you feel like you’re about to lose it, work on getting as far north as possible in the direction you want to go. I can direct you to an example of me using both these options in a live roll if you like.

      Really appreciate your comment. I try to control the near-side sleave and pull it up, but I do see how controlling that top shoulder gives more leverage.
      Mmmm I like the north comment. Sure man. That'd be great for me and anyone else reading this comment! Plug away

      @@claytoncuteribjj yeah I do the same thing with the white and blue belts but sometimes the white belts get really aggressive like they want to prove a point so I have to turn up the heat and put them in their place

      @@davidrivas6412 that's certainly one option. I usually don't roll with them or tell them that I'll roll with them again once they learn to control their anger

    Pardon my stupidity but can you elaborate on ankle above the knee. Just found your channel and I like it!

    • @claytoncuteribjj
      @claytoncuteribjj  Před 7 měsíci +1

      thanks for your compliment! And no such thing as a stupid question - especially when it comes to safety.
      I'll do my best with this comment.
      My comment was about ankle and knee position relative to the ground. So stand up. Yes, you, and yes right now.
      Now look down. Do you notice how your ankle is closer to the ground than your knee? And therefore your knee (sp edit) is above your ankle?
      Now, however you can do it, try to put your leg in a position where your knee is closer to the ground than your ankle. This will likely require you to get on your back or down on one knee
      Any position like this directs any tension that is placed on your foot or hip toward your knee. Your knee is not made to support this force. Thus, tendons can easily hit their point of failure, and create a situation where you will not be doing jiu jitsu for at least 6-8 months (yo knee gunna disconnect)
