- Arthem built this car in Russia and brought it with him when he moved to the US. Originally imported to Russia from Japan, this car came with a CA18 which was promptly replaced with a rotary engine from Mazda.

More than the car, I love the passion Artem has for his project. It couldn't have been easy or cheap moving that S13 across the world.
That just money, but dealing with the political nonsense in Russia.. you can tell he’s happy to be out of that. My respect goes out as well
@@TboneWertman his t-shirt says '12.5.1 f**k off'. 12.5.1 is a number of the article in Russian Code of Administrative Offences which basically makes modifying your car illegal. He could've easily lost his registration on this beauty if patrol caught him here.
So, yeah, moving it to US is a really efficient way you say 'f**k off' to 12.5.1.
And there is Putins war also, in which, despite what you might hear, most Russians want no part in. The most common toast raised during NY celebrations (and any through past year) was wishing for peace.

Man what a life this car has lived.. from an 80s automatic 98 horsepower machine, then moved around the world while becoming a showstopper with crazy engine and paint... A lot of dedication from this humble guy.

I am quadrupled over in my Fandom after meeting the builder of this car and his story, first of all I adore my Russo friends despite our countries rivalry, but the fact that he just slipped through the cracks to our side of safety with his prized possession being th3 last to make it over and is passionate enough about the US to come stay stateside as a Russian during this time, love love love him
At least by having the CA18DE auto he was guaranteed a non clapped chassis. Also he got the CA boot emblem and probably the big print silvia grille ... All the nice bits.
Edit; sunroof might mean it was a K, not a Q DE. Still, beautiful condition and excellent work. Congrats brother!
This is a work of art.... at 2040 pounds and nearing 300hp to the rear wheels it's got to be snappy and fast for a show car with what looks like a tiny little motor. As a honda man myself I still absolutely love this ride!!!!!!

@@carsmusicandclothing7066 They came with the 13B as base option, while the 20B was the baller one. In fact, the one easy way to differentiate the 3rd gen Cosmo 13Bs with the other 13Bs would be the intake manifold, which shares the same design as the 20B.

I remember seeing this car a few years ago on some IG page and being VERY impressed by it, the attention to details is just outstanding! And that Rotary sounds sooooo good!! Glad to see it featured on this channel, very well deserved!
This car is so clean! Something I’ve noticed is that any time someone swaps basically anything with a 13b or rotary for that matter the whole car community loves it!
We should have kept all those s13's from high school, they went for about 3k at the time.
