    ( Everton fan ) All Arsenal fans should be proud of their team, they have played beautiful football all season and have been a joy to watch. Wanted you to win the title but in the end you just missed out, good luck for next season The Gunners. It has been a tough season for The Toffees hope better times will return.

    Liverpool had 97 points in 18-19 season and still didn't win title. We have score 89 points, lost 5, drawn 5. Its unfortunate but only one can win and man city were just better. We can surely improve from here and come back stronger next season.

      Between games 15 and 20 Arsenal went from 36 pts to only 40 pts and went from 1st to 4th. That is when they lost chance of title. They actually had a better run in in terms of points than city. From game 21 they only dropped points in 2 games which is crazy and one was a draw away to city

    Arsenal need players who can turn things around when things are not going against the opponents with low blocks or very physical teams which come up in the middle of the run of games. This used to happen after 2005 till 2012 when Arsenal were in mix of challenging for the title. City has Rodri and before that Toure and others , Liverpool had Mane , Wljnaldum, and Milner . Arsenal need someone who dig their heel in the middle behind whom the team can rally and rely upon in tough games . Arsenal are missing that or those players and unfortunately both Rice and Partey are not the answer , neither is Saka is that reliable. When the games gets tough, Saka is the first one to crack and starts complaining every second. Odegard goes missing in big games so many times . White is error prone and Arsenal can definitely do with a better left back than White.

      did u really watch the Arsenal games this year or are u just rehashing the old criticisms against them just for the sake of making some noise. just how many league games did they drop points this year? which games did partey play? did you watch him in those games? what were the results?

    • @achuthp.k4567
      @achuthp.k4567 Před 13 dny

      There goes the same narrative again. Ødegaard goes missing on big games🤷 How do you classify big games? You need stop looking at G/A stats only when it comes to
      analyzing one player. Ødrgaard is not your typical CAM. He plays in according to what team demands. Sometimes behind striker, some times drops deeper. He plays like a hybrid of box to box and creative playmaker. The whole creative burden falls up on this guy who need to more support from midfield. KDB has Foden, Silva, Grealish who support him in creative phase. Ødegaard has none. Arsenal really need one dynamic box to box player or DM in the summer. Depending up on what's Areteta plan about using Rice. Currently Ødegaard does too much off the ball work.
      In my opinion Arsenal's fixtures in 2024 was most toughest one. Yet they suffered only one loss because Artera changed the squad. Ødegaard's been their most consistent player in this time period. He pressed all games with out any rest.

    Oh, it's that time of the season again for Arsenal, isn't it? The annual unraveling, a tradition as rich and deeply embedded in their culture as overpriced coffee in their stadium. Truly, no one does a late-season collapse with quite the same flair and panache. Watching Arsenal fans transition from "This is our year" to "Next year is our year" is a spectacle, an art form that has been refined and perfected over decades. It's almost like the stages of grief, but wrapped in red and white, and somehow always stuck in denial.
    And who could blame them? With such a colorful history of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, it's not just a habit; it's heritage. The dramatic fall from grace, the inevitable slip from potential glory to not win a single major trophy since 2004, it's a story told time and again with such consistency, one can't help but admire their dedication to mediocrity.
    Let's not forget the transfer window, a period of hope and fantasy, where Arsenal fans convince themselves that this new signing, this young prospect, will be the savior, the one to break the bottling cycle. But alas, as the months go by, the optimism fades, replaced by the familiar embrace of underwhelming reality.

They broke Liverpool, well on their way to breaking Arsenal who both by the way have to operate within the same fair play rules which restricts them from strengthening to City's level. The system is broken and if City isn't dealt with, there will be NO POINT competing with them. The top teams will play optimally to get positions 2-4 and leave it at that. That's it.

      @@TheKh65It's a different thing that Pep managed to get the results out of them but it was a far weaker team than last year, experienced players like Gundogan gone, Mahrez gone. KDB injured for half the season, Haaland and Stones injured for 2 months, Grealish injured for a month. Four completely new players brought in to a completely new system. So definitely credit needs to be given to Pep for getting these results.
