- Horleys 8th game of the year sees us play Thames Ditton at home. With a few very dangerous players in the Thames Ditton squad we knew we’d have to be on the ball. Luckily we were, we won the toss and opted to bat… Horley’s batsmen went big on Thames ditton, while nobody scored a century there was solid contributions from nearly everyone. The difficult part was always going to be the second innings especially on Horley’s new road they have this year, taking 10 wickets will always be tough. Luckily Horley were on fire with bat and ball today and we managed to secure a massive victory to keep us in the hunt for top spot in the league.

Great stuff. Had 3 hugely enjoyable seasons at Horley in the early 80s, great blokes and very useful team.

Brilliant cricket Andy, and you definetely dont need to opolgise for anything. Your fans and viewers are just pleased that you bring us Horleys great standard of cricket, week in week out, outside of your private and family committmnts. Thanks personally for this. Thanks for going along with my request amongst others, to be able to show us the ground from differen angles. Other sites cannot do this as the filmer is also playing, so the camera is fixed at one angle. Catches etc are of course never in view. Horley must surely have the best opening partnership in your league and most probably a few leagues higher. Then having CP and Ben Davies to follow, is quite formidable. As Bob Burroughs says the other 2 teams around you, The Bridges and Sanderstead are like yourselves, having good seasons. Now that the rain seems to have stopped, the wickets all seem hard, meaning runs galore, with some very high totals. Keep up the excellent coverage Andy. It is much appreciated my friend

Superb batting and bowling by Horley. It's difficult to bowl a side out, and to do it in so few overs is remarkable. We can pass by Adam's dropped catch as he rarely drops anything and 5 for not v much is extremely commendable.
