BOW HUNTERS NIGHTMARE đ„ BOWHUNTING NYALA đ„ MOZAMBIQUE SERIES EP.01 đ„ AFRICA [2020.EP16]
VloĆŸit
- Äas pĆidĂĄn 1. 08. 2022
- In a series of 5 new vlogs we will share our adventure in Mozambique. We will be hunting in Africa spot and stalk for a series of antilopes like Nyala, Sable, Warthog and also Buffalo. Hunting with my dad, with bow but also rifle, a mixed adventure full of emotions and action.
In this first episode we take the challenge of harvesting a Nyala with the bow, and I share some personal stories on a hunt that for some reason was tough for me. Bowhunting is never easy, and international hunts add the pressure of the time and cost, filming them also adds for the pressure.
Hope you guys enjoy this honest journey!

That's bowhunting, don't matter how much frustrating is it sometimes...we keep going on.
Much value hunting like this one day than hunting with a riffle a week.
Always a great heart Pedro.
Thanks for watching!
Bravo!
Gracias tio!
simply fantastic !!!
Thank you! Cheers!
I love seeing you hunt with your dad. Your love for him and his love for you is so evident and lovely to see. So good to see you sharing these amazing experiences together. â€ïž
Huge thanks!
Thank you for showing what hunting really is trying to keep positive when you are up against all the worst weather, nature and never wanting to lose an animal wish we had more real sportsmen like you.
Looking forward
Thanks for taking the time and watching our vlog!

Thank you for being honest! Not everyone knows how to do it! and thanks to this we learn! Mila Esker!
Thanks for watching!
Pedro I was there in September last year. Your short film captured the essence of stalking in the "gardens", the excitement of seeing the animals and the deep and bitter disappointment of losing the Nyala bull. Respect to you for showing both the highs and lows of the hunt not just the trophy at the end. Go back again but book for 10 days to give it more time.
Glad we captured the essence! Thanks for watching!
Gracias!Seguiremos intentando!

Hello Ampuero, great video, Like
Gracias!!
Great trip Pedro. Shake it off and keep on going. We wouldnât do this if it was easy. Look at it this way......you have to plan another Bow Hunting trip back there to hunt the Nyala. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Thanks buddy!
Gracias Daniel!
Pity, Pedro but that is bowhunting. A single bevel fixed blade cut-on-contact broadhead might have helped better penetration in that shoulder blade shot. I do not like mechanicals for precisely that reason.
Thanks for watching! That was my regret on this animal....
I just started watching your videos when I did a search for videos related to hunting sika & red deer ahead of my upcoming trip to Ireland & Scotland to stalk them. I really enjoy your content and appreciate the fact that you are real and honest, even when there is a mistake or you go home empty handed, because that's how it is in real life. I hope more people like & subscribe so you can continue to produce this kind of genuine content.
Very well made and honest video Pedro, well done. Really sucks when these things happen... But that's hunting, we just need to learn and move on.
Keep up the good work.
Awesome video Pedro!!! So sorry you lost that bullđ, we've all been there, it sucks!! Love how you show the truth and what really happens out there man! That's the straight up truth about hunting!!! look forward to the next episode!
Thanks for watching!!
Sorry you missed that Nyala Pedro I think they are an amazing creature and one I would like to hunt maybe better luck next time amigo.
Esto puede pasarle a cualquiera, mucho animo!
Gracias!
Danke!
Thanks!!!!!
Love the episodes with you and your dad hunting!
Great video,mr. Ampuero.I really enjoy every step of your journeys.Iâve beeen into such situations as well ,but every time,We must be grateful for what we learn to be a better bowhunters.Thank You for your shared experiences and keep going.Best Regards.
I appreciate that, and agree with you Hristo. Thanks a lot buddy

Great work thx
Thanks a lot JohN!!
Iâm sorry for the mishap Pedro, itâs hunting đ Iâd always shoot fixed heads on larger gameđ€
Thanks!!!
I did exactly that with an Elk once. Now I shoot only premium fixed blade broadheads. Check out Valkyrie Archery.
Thanks Ryan!
Sorry you lost that bull. Thanks for the honest film making. đđ Out of interest, how heavy was that arrow? I am hunting SA in Feb next year.
I used a 425 grains! Good luck next year!
@@pedroampuerohunting đđđđ
Good try brođ€
Gracias.
Why do you use mechanicals and not fixed blades? That might have made a difference?
That was my regret on this trip! Thanks for watching!
Why are the don't search for the bull with a dog in Africa ?
Awesome Movie
Waidmannsheil from Germany
In that part there are so many tse-tse flies that dog canât survive. Itâs interesting that there are no dogs or Cattle in that territory.

Hey Pedro, I really like your vids and appreciate your demeanor and ethics. However it pains me to see that you shoot mechanicals.
Howâs everything going?-yaeh~you uploaded cool editing-talk you later. đ€
Hey, thanks
You need to quit beating yourself up so much you do your best that's all a person can ask
Thats why i cant understand bow hunting personallyâŠ.no judgment at all, i just cant get why i should choose a worse tool for the job and thus risk even more suffering for the pray.
Thats a clean kill with any rifle chambered bigger than 22lr ⊠imo
Hey Max, bad shots happen with all weapons, and although big rifle calibers will supply some of our errors, arrow shots animals are more likely to recover from, but I understand your point. There is a different read to it too, with rifles the advantage over the animal is so big that their possibilities to escape are very low. Whats better? Its different. I often think about if I was an animal, what would I prefer, to have all my senses to be able to detect a hunter less than 50 meters away and escape, or being shot from far away and not being able to do nothing. Have a great day!
@@pedroampuerohunting never thought about it that way đ€âŠthere are many good reasons for bowhunting i am sure. In my country it just isnât part of the culture, so maybe thats why it looks a little unsettling to me.
Thx for your replyâŠkeep up the great work and videos!
Using a uniform type of camo from caps to boots is hopeless It shows the shape of a human. What you want is to break up the shape of a human. In shadow and sun in the jungle "camo" is complicated. Believe me, I was hunting in Mozambique when you were a baby. ;)
