- In the second part of our trip to the Russian side of the Caucasus Mountains, we go after Kuban tur, one of the tur subspecies of the Caucasus.
Join us as we spike camp in some beautiful and remote country until we find the tur we came here for. A super old billy that was going to probably be its last winter.

Very cool video Pedro, dang you have been everywhere man. I gotta go hunting with you some day, but I would have to get in better shape than I am right now. This is the first video I've watched with a gun as the chosen weapon but since it's you Pedro it's all good, you are the man. One question Pedro, what is the model of your Doinker stabilizer on your bow? Oh and damn what a shot buddy.

How can someone kill an animal? If someone comes to hunt you down, how would you feel?
In slow motion it looks like a 100% shot in the right leg.
It is a very very steep angle shot, it brakes the leg and got inside the chest.

Naci y me crie en el campo ,se mas sobre animales y caza que el 99% de los que cazan,antes cazabamos para comer,como el hombre hizo desde antes del neolitico,ahora no es mas que un exterminio por diversion.Llamalo como quieras pedro.Ante todo vaya por delante que no es ningun insulto,ni animadversion a quien lo hace.
Gracias a la caza sostenible hoy en día hay más animales que nunca, y se hace una gestión de los recursos. No es un exterminio ni mucho menos, y de hecho todos los biólogos defienden que es necesaria. Hay que controlar la población es para que haya un equilibro y para que estén saludables, no cazar solo acabaría con la flora, y con las especies por enfermedades, y estaríamos desaprovechando un recurso alimenticio, algo totalmente irresponsable. Yo no se que cazadores conoces, ni lo que haces tú por la fauna, pero nosotros le dedicamos la vida, tiempo y nuestros recursos. Un saludo.

I have harvested a tur in Azerbaijan with the bow which is legal there. The weapon doesn’t make the hunter, and the kill is a small part of the hunt, I value more the experience and discovering new places than the weapon used. I’m western Caucasus you can legally only hunt with a rifle but still is a great adventure to experience. Have you ever hunted sheep or ibex with a bow?
