Installing short reach handlebars on Can Am F3T

- This time I’ll be swapping the standard handlebars for the short reach ones on my Can Am F3T. First off let me apologize for the spotty audio , I have no idea why it went to crap in the middle of my recording. So I recently got back from a ride from NY to SC. The trike worked flawlessly but my neck and back are now killing me. I think it’s from long miles hunched over and the bad posture causing me to hold my head and helmet up. The only solution I could think of is getting bars that come back further and keeping me more upright . The installation was strait forward and can be done in less than an hour and without any significant mechanical skills or tools . Being that it is the handlebars and the only way you can control the trike , if you think you can’t do this swap the take it to the shop . I don’t know if this will solve my problem so I’ll let you guys know next time I take a long ride.

How do you like the short reach handlebars so far?
Not too bad actually keeps me a bit more upright which is why I got them. I’ll have to wait for a really long trip to make sure my neck doesn’t get tweaked like on my trip to SC.
@@SIRyker ok cool I may have to take a look , sometimes I feel like I’m slouching and leaning forward whereas I would prefer sitting more upright & back. Thanks for the video
@@getrichkidd4986 yep it worked for me that’s all I can say. It’s not a hard install and not to expensive. Might be worth a try even if it doesn’t work for you.
Hello @@SIRyker , I finally bought and installed the short reach handle bars on my Spyder F3 LTD. It was an easy install and yes my cables are a little tight but other than that I feel more comfortable sitting on the seat and no more slouching, I haven't taken her out for a test run as of yet it's suppose to hit 45- 50 deg. in a couple of days and i will do my test run then. Thanks for doing this video which pointed me in the right direction for comfort. thanks again and safe travels.
