Love the cockpit view. Great lap. I dont understand if these are the best drivers in E-Sports, why do they all drive in Tv Pod in official F1 events? Seems arcade like and down right unrealistic. Watching this in cockpit is what I want to see from these drivers. Drive from the perspective of a driver, not a tv camera. Lets go.
First off, it's an eSport on a simcade game, it's not meant to be realistic, just ultra competitive.
Second, cockpit view is arguably the most unrealistic camera anyways, if you sit in a formula one car, in real life, there is a certain amount of depth perception, the halo doesn't actually block your view the way it does in the game, your eyes look around it and paint a picture.
These same guys race in cockpit cams on real sim racing games like IRacing, since the cockpit cam for IRacing is genuinely miles ahead in terms of the depth perception, and even has a better support system for VR, which is used quite often now.
Lastly, in eSports especially, there is a level of driving standard that needs to be reached, and that is down-right impossible in an online lobby in cockpit view, the mirrors are genuinely useless because of the ping of the other player.
Cockpit cam is overall only feasible if you're trying to get an "immersive experience" in a career mode, but mind you, the cockpit cam in this game does not give you as good of a feeling of immersiveness as IRacing or Assetto Corsa

I want to see an f1 car in front of my eyes .. I want to feel sitting in my favorite car from before .. but I can't afford to go to your country because I don't have money .. can all the f1 team and ceo of Mercedes amg Petronas make my childhood dream come true still want to experience the best f1 car in the world..
