Such a well shot video with so many views and not even the name of the player... I know him. He likes to italianize his name in Lorenzo. He is a very gentle soul with a genuine love for music and we share Paris streets. I read, fair remarks on his accordion. You have to know that he his (like I am) constantly harassed by the police and that in the last year, he had 2 beautiful accordions confiscated. That's Paris and it became very difficult to make a living in the street without consequences. A city that owes most of its reputation to artists, while humiliating them day after day. I hope that the maker of this video has generously rewarded his job (I will ask Lorenzo ;) ). I point that out because everyday I come across plenty of cool and fancy cameramen who steal sounds and images for their own business and don't drop a cent in the hat. But I want to assume that the owner of a page called "World street music", takes great care of that and don't speculate. ;)

+jj leto I'm SO GLAD to read your comment. How terrible that Paris doesn't allow street musicians without consequences. I was thinking about that BEFORE I came across your comment. So sad, because everyone needs enough money to survive. He just stands there playing this wonderful music, and I thought to myself how hard his life must be. And now I hear you say he is a gentle soul who has had two accordians confiscated. Makes me a bit angry - that it is a crime to play music in the streets of a city for money. I used to love seeing that in San Francisco, way back when it wasn't a crime. I tell you, this world is crazy. The REAL criminals get away with murder, while gentle and loving musicians cannot share without being looked down upon as vermin. And if a vagrant is not harming anyone - rather sharing beauty, what is the crime? What you said about tourists being drawn to the sight of street musicians must be so true. I find it BEAUTIFUL. How very sad that our priorities are all messed up in this world :(`
Talentul, dragostea față de muzică și de ceea ce este frumos, dăruirea de sine și Inima Mare a oricărui Român nu pot fi strivite, nimicite, aruncate, uitate. This unknown musician plays with so much emotion that I feel it must be from his Romani’s(Gypsy) soul. His expressions are so natural and he plays with an old very worn out accordion so beautifully. He is not only playing music but telling us his very special story. I simply love the way he plays. Thank you World Street Music. You’re doing a great job. Bravo!!

I play accordion and can tell you that this guy is educated musician, probably having fun by dressing in this way and playing an old accordion. They way he is holding his hands, playing bass, I am quite sure he has some formal music education.
I put my money that he learned to play this instrument before he went to school 💯

When I am in Paris for work, nothing is as pleasurable as hearing a well played accordion in the metro tunnels. Never forgotten a player under Trocadero echoing hauntingly off the walls. Not far from the matchstick artist building la Tour Eiffel.

I'm sure the accordion got since childhood and longs already be home with his family in a forgotten village in Romania...
+bolsomvpekle m Gypsies and from ALL parts of the world and have always traveled a lot - being lovers of freedom. Romania is a country with its OWN unique history and people. Romanians are not innately GYPSIES. I guess there are a lot of gypsies who ended up there, but they are in most countries that allow their lifestyle. The music is FANTASTIC. :) :) :) :) I wish people would realize how hard it must be to stand on a street and just play beautiful music for, HOPEFULLY, the joy of others.
