is it best to do this while running or walking? i cannot for the life of me beat this after 2 hours 0_0

It's probably better to walk because if you're on a controller you won't be sprinting at all, aiming and sprinting is basically impossible. The flashlight helicopter strategy doesn't work too well with running either because you'll always be slowed down to walking speed due to constant turning. So I'd just walk and take your time with it, go around the mannequins instead of walk through them.
