That's a really good selection! Some good savings too - I'd be tempted to get this bundle but I really don't need any more lol. Good to hear that Hornby fixed their problem within 24 hours, I'm still waiting on my powertrack lol . .

I like the idea of Hornby customer service acting so quickly for the lost kit. It kind of makes a mockery of why it takes so long for our orders to arrive in general, when they can get kit delivered the next day when they want to.
I think I was lucky.. DPD pick up around 3pm on most kits and with the strikes I think they are using a next day to protect themselves..
Looks like amazing value to me, if I had the opportunity I would personally be tempted to purchase this as a Christmas present to myself (It's Christmas, the size of your stash should not be a hinderance 😆). It's a shame I live in Australia and on the "No shipping list".

Looks like a great selection to me. The Me 262b is £23.99 (it's a bit more than the "a" version) so the whole lot would be £232.88. With Club discount that would be about £209.60. I think that means you're saving £74.60. Still great vfm.

The stencils on that phantom will test you, looks a good bundle there .
I'm very pleased.. some newer tooling in there too
'... it's all aircraft [aeroplanes]...' immediately finds a helicopter [OK technically an aircraft albeit rotary not prop driven or a jet] and a couple of tanks.

Great value here shame I knew about this little to late. But if you a member you can actually get two more kits with the Hawks and another one for a fiver for postage with the flying hours.
So with you being a member and adding the members prise at £ 30 so that's £ 170.
With the 12 Kits M box, 2 kits in 1 via membership & plus maybe 1 or 2 kit's with the flying hours.
So the max kits you can get are 16 kits for 170 that's crazy value.

they should make specific 12 pack of these kits like armored vehicles set then planes set then boats set so it'll be a mystery to what you get but theres now a class for it

Looking at the kits in the box, I'm glad I didn't get it tbh. Good value if you wanted the kits though
I do want to get a Phantom at some point, but already have a 1/48 Mustang in the stash, a Sea King in the stash, got the Mig from the recent aircraft mystery box, and I've not done any biplanes tbh, and have the Spit Vc ready to paint (in the RAF markings)
Bit of an oversight missing out the biggest kit in the box. 🤔
Times like these I wish I lived in the UK, I would have loved to order this but alas I am in the US.

Really cool kits except the tanks i really dislike 1/72 tank scale i only buy them in 1/35 scale (with a few exceptions). For planes I'm fine with both 1/72 and 1/48
I dont mind the 72 tanks.. they are a bit of fun to build

there is one serious issue, you cant get it outside UK to any UE state :-( it's kinda cheap, because when you stash up other kits/bundles to similar value/size there is no limitation to send it across channel. To be honest, by judging contets of your parcel this surely should come with reasonably priced parcel.... :(

Wouldn’t you have saved the 10% off all the kits individually? So you only really saved the £76.88. How much can you get these kits for if you shop around?
Not unless you were a airfix club member..
did same price check and it should not be 90pounds if you own membership. Your real saving if you shop around your real saving will be more like 20-30pounds, providing you are 100% satisfied with christmas box content and you dont wat to swap particular models for different brands that may offer same quality and better price . I must say that content is decent without surprises like beginners kits and 1:76 tanks. I was hoping for nice WWII bomber inside

1: you do have club card so for both mystery pack and individual kits you get 10% discount
2: you don't have card and you don't have discount
comparing mystery pack discounted price to regular kits price is bit creative here ;-)

A better idea would be this: Airfix could have made a list of say 20 to 30 kits from their range. Then let you pick the 12 kits that you would like in your box. That way, you have a better chance of getting something you want. I also think they would sell more boxes that way. Also, did you notice that there were no large bombers in that bundle? A Lancaster, Wellington, Dakota or HE111 would have been nice maybe.
But would it be a mystery box then? I like my chances with these after buying quite a few this year.. Never been disappointed matey 🤓😀

Yeah 1/72? Nope sorry way too small. Now if they had one for 1/48 I'd get it. Just don't see why they have models that small especially the fighter planes. The bigger ones I get because the wingspan is still big enough...But this scale sucks....Give us bigger scales and it'll be a winner.....
As someone that would not allow an arfix kit in my house, I see this as losing 150 quid definitely not saving 90 lol

"Great customer service" only because you are posting a video. Not my experience trying to get a replacement part either through customer service or their FB account. Fortnately AC Models of Eastleigh replaced the missing part.
When was this? because recently Customer Service has been top notch, thru covid they struggled

Best part - the packaging, otherwise I'd never gamble on a mystery box especially at 150 pounds. Kits that I want to build are costing that much, and I have a particular historical era I build. Nice try Airfix. But no go.

@@MOS6510Models WWll, Century series, Vietnam. Love Spitfires, Mosquitoes and Lancasters.Haven't tried these new giant scales, I'm not sure if that much detail is necessary they take a lot of time and cost even more. Ill give it go and hit subscribe
Absolute bargain..............If you build aircraft. I'm not sure why but it seems to me that a lot of these Airfix mystery boxes contain mainly aircraft which for me would be a waste of time as I dont build many aircraft but then maybe thats just me. Come on Airfix not every modeler builds planes what about a mystery box for armour builders.
They do armour ones from time to time.. just gotta keep an eye out for them

@@MOS6510Models I am not totally against Airfix mate. They have been getting better in recent years. I just hate the fact that they think their main demographic is people who build 1/72 scale. That is why I would never buy a planes mystery box and never buy a mystery box that costs £150.
