A professional singer and a teacher of vocal Rasa Serra is the voice of many collectives of the country. She is a universal artist who sings jazz and pop music.
Folklore lovers know this musician from Klaipeda as an unequalled folklore songs performer who often takes part in events organized by the Lithuanian Folk Culture Center.
The folk songs performed by Rasa Serra and their themes can be recognized in pieces played by many Lithuanian and foreign musicians, such as "Saint of Sin", "World Trio", "World Duo" "Enigma", "Donis", "Exem", "Filtered Tools", etc.

Dear Rasa Serra,
My name is Rožė Elžbiėtą Christina Apanavičiūtė-Andrade, I live, in Tamarac, Florida now, but, I used, to live, in Chicago, Illinois, where there is a more predominate Lithuanian Community and where I was born and raised. When I was a teenager, about fourteen years, of age, I wanted, to join the Lithuanian Sisters, of Saint Casmiras, and live with them, in the convent, right next door, to the Catholic School, where the nuns lived, who were also our teachers, in The Immaculate Conception, Catholic School. I remember, celebrating the Holy Sacrifice, of the Holy Mass, in the same building, on the first floor, but, they stopped the celebrating the mass there, it became our lunchroom. When I and my second grade class made, our first Holy Communion, we used, to practice, going, to confessional, in the old confessional, in the converted lunchroom, until it was the time, for us, to celebrate it, in the newly built Church, next door called, "The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and we were the first, second grade class, to make, our First Hoky Communion, in the newly built Catholic Church, next door, to the Grammar School. Anyway, since moving, to Florida, in 1980, the year, my father passed away, I haven't been keeping up, my Lithuanian language very well, and as, a matter, of fact, I think that, especially since my Mother, İėva Ona Sindaravičiūtė Apanavičienė died, in 1999, and due, to circumstances, beyond, my control, like intermarrying an Ecuadorian man, who's family didn't speak Lithuanian, only Spainish and just enough English, to defend themselves, except, for his parents, who refused,to speak, any other languages, I haven't been able, to practice using the little Lithuanian language that I learned, as a six year old, until,the nuns, told me that I had, to learn American-English, in order, to help support my family, by getting an English speaking job, and that this is the national language, of the country. So, if it's not, too much, to ask, is it possible, to have the lyrics, in your songs, in your Lithuanian Music videos, typed, in American-English? It's about a dead soldier who has perished faraway beyond green woods and blue seas, and is burried beneath green rue flowers. First his father comes offering him a marten's fur cap, if he would get up, but the soldier doesn't... Then his mother comes bringing him a white shirt, then his brother bringing him warm boots, sister bringing him a golden ring, his maiden offering him her wreath of rue but he keeps explaining them that he is not able to get up because he's head has been chopped up and is hidden beneath green rue...
