I've learned more from dweezil than any other guitarist. Just something in the way he puts things, so easy to follow. The ideas in his lessons are like nothing else.
I have been on a mission finding every Dweezil Guitar and Performance Video Online and Bookmarking them .. I Remember Frank and MOI releasing Freak Out Double Album .. I had learned Music Theory Playing Keys and Percussion. It was this Awesome Album that Inspired me to Learn Guitar .. Dweezil Unlocks Guitar Approach
whoda thunk forty years ago I would be learning guitar licks from the son of my favorite musical influence of all time! please dont wake me( i'm only sleeping)
To this day I didnt now that guitargods give lessons. Absolutly flabbergasting. I even seem to know what he is talking about. Although I struggle with soloing still after 45 Years of practice.
I can't believe it's been 5 years since I learned this. my playing has hit next level since then and Dweezil's videos had a lot to do with that. thanks again!
The slide is very Vai, excellent lesson. Already got some Andy Timmons and Jennifer Batton Truefire dvd's, looks like I'm gonna have to add to my collection.

Yeah, but then we have those few minutes of playing way over our heads and finding something glorious. Keeps us practicing :-)
