Its easy to do.
In a wide boil a few inches of generesly salted water then cut cut your asparagus into pieces snd put it in cook at rapid simer for 1 minute.
Then imediatly plunge the spears into a bowl of iced water to halt the cooking and keep them green.
Try it with chicken prety good.

(please make this an actual series maybe even after the full disbeef phases of the cooking process other stuff on the papyrus cooking show like Molten lava cake in hotland and snowcones in snowdin in the ruins making pie with Toriel and pasteries and cider with the spiders Tea with asgore in new home [golden flower tea specifically] A quiche [or maybe fish just dont tell undyne] in waterfall rock candy in special extra funny episode and a special episode with some spaghetti! each with a song based on either a guest or area like asgore for the tea episode and the final episode being on the surface)

Honestly this would make for a fun sans/papyrus fangame. You use “weapons” to tenderize and slice the steak, while dodging flames and pepper and such. Someone will soon eat the steak afterwards, giving you a ranking on how you did.
