I was the first to be bored with the Far Cry formula but I actually think this game is underrated.
It looks amazing, reminded me on how shocked I was when I first played the first Far Cry or Crisis back in the days.
I'm having a lot of fun playing it, congrats !

Cool. The game is solid. I've played it for about 75 hours since its release. There are things I'm not a fan of (can get quite repetitive if you try to hit every mark on the map one after the other), but the attention to detail you guys put into the world is great, and the combat is pretty fun. I like the sights and especially the sounds of Pandora. I'm hoping (playing in Series X, but applies to PS5 as well) that the image quality is improved a bit in updates. There is some fizzle due to FSR I believe, some weird flickering in lighting at times, and the frame rate isn't perfect.
I also hope there are some more control and UI options, like being able to have all UI elements auto-hide, and the ability to further customize the crosshair (not a fan of persistent dot, nor how big the crosshair is). And an always-run option where we don't need to press or hold a button down would be nice. I'd like to be able to keep the crosshair off unless I'm aiming in. I believe I am almost finished discovering the world of Pandora and then finishing the story. It was decent, and I'll probably be back to soak in the atmosphere in the future.
