Ingredients :
200g butter(牛油)
130g caster sugar (细砂糖)
4 large eggs(鸡蛋)- grade A
200g ( 1 2/3 cups ) plain flour(普通面粉)
1 tsp baking powder (发粉)
1/4 tsp salt (盐)
Juice of 1 mandarin orange (1粒年柑汁)
Fresh of 1 mandarin orange (1粒年柑肉)
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 60 minutes.
放入已预热烤箱,以170°C烤60分钟。

Hi Kathrine, i bake this cake following your recipe and steps. The cake came out great but the mandarin oranges pieces all sank to the bottom. Why is that so? I saw your cake, the mandarins stayed inside but mine all sink to the bottom😔
Hi Julie, the measurement for orange juice is not exact. One orange could produce more (or less) juice than the other, e.g. valencia has more juices than navel. So I suggest you don't pour all juice at once. Checking the consistency of the cake batter as you add the juice. Too many juices may lead to a watery batter, I guess that's why your orange flesh sinked to the bottom. Try a thicker cake batter. ^.^
