Perry. Long time player, mostly sitting around D1. I had lost motivation to play this year, so I switched back to jungle. After failing a bit, I saw your videos. I figured I’d brush up on my outdated jg knowledge. After just a week, I’ve climbed from Emerald 1 to Diamond 1 with a 70%~ winrate. I’m going for GM.
Your jungle content helped out a lot.

but the skill gap from d1 to GM is nuts so don't expect it to be a breeze
@@rkivejgl oh I’ve been GM before but in a different role. It’s a tough climb. But I think I can make it happen. Honestly the biggest thing that changed it for me was changing my mindset

Hi perry, how to overcome the urge of playing many champions? I wanted to stick to diana and viego but tier lists mess with my mind 😅
Do it in normals, and stick with those 2 for ranked.
@@RedGalaxyFishboneThat’s what I do as well to help. I was bad about playing more than 4 champs until I split some time up to do normals to have fun with my non-main champs.
Stop looking at tier lists they literally don’t do anything useful it’s just something for content creators to organize content around. It’s almost never a good idea to pick a champ based solely on tier list or any stat.

What are you reviewing this video on, where it shows where certain game events occured over time?
in 3:51 (8min ingame) you reset to help your adc to catch the next wave/get to lane...
would you recommend to do that everytime? this scenario happens to me very often (especially in my master/gm flex que games)
at what point do i skip my camps or change my path? only if botlane is the wincondition/or to secure setup for next drake?
or what should i do if my toplaner is getting frozen on/cant contest the bounce and botlane is even?
i normally just let them bleed if they are not the wincondition... but i think in flex que/competetive play its maybe better to do sth else?
i really wish you could make a guide on how to play competetive / play as a team in flex que/clash
and especially how to shotcall as a jgler... (for example: pls ward raptors at 1:20, start slow pushing this wave-> im there in 30 secs to dive/ do drake or sth like that)
i know you said you would play competetive/champsque just like solo que but its hard to not follow your teams calls / or crafting bad theories together on how to play the game

hey perry, im confused, you really know so much about how to play the game, and youve accomplished a lot, so im just wondering, what is the difference between you and a rank 1 jungler? you said youve hit rank 2 before, but is there a reason you didnt go for rank 1? is it simply by chance? or is there still a skill difference? ive always had these kinds of questions when it comes to someone who has become the second best at something, like chess, and what makes them different from the technical/actual best. I mean tbf, magnus is straight up genetically engineered for chess so its not really the same lol. but whats the difference between you and rank 1?
There is essentially no difference in skill in top 10. Unless there is a massive MMR difference
