basicly on any AP jungler nowdays you start raptors and upon your first recall you do have around 1200gold that means fated ashes and a dark seal (if you play free boots on runes)
that's so interesting. I always start rapt with Rammus because he clear them so fast compared to red, but after seeing this I realize it will have quite big implications

What about known junglers like Kayn that can start Raptors often? Even OTP suggest the clear from top to bottom knowing the risk of action at bot lane and the 6:15 respawn tied to taking drag and then maybe invade since you know they might invade you.

This is cool. I've swapped from playing Lillia to playing Reksai and been wondering about this, since I#d usually start chickens on Lillia but I want to be active on Reksai and spend more time bot. I actually did go back to starting on the buff since I noticed it just gives me more time to make plays before I have to cross back to top. One thing that worked a couple of times though was to start wolves, then sequence to red and collect wolves again together with the lvl 1 gromp and blue. (Except one time where I started on wolves then cleared the blue quadrant before crossing mid and the enemy Udyr randomly walked to my wolves just as they spawned, which sucked a little bit.)
What do you think about starting raptors and pathing down to wolves, gromp, blue, red, krugs? You take scuttle or back, then take raptors, wolves and gromp to get to drake on a good timing. I have found success with this.
We used to call this the grubs clear because it made u lvl 5 for grub spawn with reset now if u do this clear ur lvl 5 for drake and if u adont do ur wolves 1st ur full clear spawns while u do drake aso ur not locked in as you say now u can full sequence with higher lvl camps cuz u already cleared ur lvl 5 raps and krugs
Would you do this pathing if you expect the enemy JG will pressure the lane you're pathing to? Say it's a Reksai or something like that.
Is it correct to start raptors when you're against some kayn diana type champion that has a high chance of cheesing your raptors away and invading your red level 2 right after, or is there a better response to that possibility if you say see them when you're doing you're 5 point?

at 6:36 (in game time) why do you not path to grubs? i feel like you have level lead since you giga farmed and you should just run down rengar and kill him. or at least just play for grubs with smite for obj xp and then your camps, while delayed, should now be synced
i think the point is, starting raptors locks you into doing raptors on spawn, and if not then you might as well do normal pathing. Doing raptors into krugs there gets him more guaranteed gold for himself, unlike banking on being able to run down a rengar. Ontop of that, shen is pushed in. Nasus has prio to help out rengar, and even though it is a shen with R, he's low hp
Grubs would have been dead already (you can tell by the global notification when starting raptors) and running Rengar down is a flip play. Just farm guaranteed gold. Doesn't waste your tempo that's better used impacting the map elsewhere. Furthermore it's a play that could burn Shen ult, which would be much more useful in the heavy trading botlane.

You do it if you want to do early drake(you gotta know your bot is strong), but if you start red your clear will be optimized for grubs. I like red start more cus ij my opinion first grubs are more snowbally than drake.
