Cool! Thank you :)
Hi. I love you videos. I did what you did and they are still alive but very slow growing. Can you do an update on your tissue cultures please?💚
Thank you for that great video
Can you tell me how you make the aloe? Do you scrape it from the leaves and put into a blender?
Girl! I have watched a few of your tissue culture videos and you are struggling so bad with them that you can’t really keep them alive. I’m not sure what you’re doing wrong but in the videos it seems like you’re doing everything right. I got my very first tissue culture four months ago and it’s still alive and thriving.
I never had any issues with it and it’s Thai constellation.
LOL I think I over water them tbh but HEY! They are alive and well now!
wear gloves when handling and rinsing them out keep it sanitary, don't put it into your sink like in your other video...use a little bit of fungacide with some IBA powder in the growing medium (soil, rockwool, foam, etc)
hi....do u use fungicide when transferring plantlets from tc bag/flask to stratum?
Hello I'm watching from 🇵🇭 Philippines 💖
Welcome!
love tissue culture, less chance for pests
And you don't have to water them. They just sit there for months on end.
Oh, tissue culture ACCLIMATION guide.
Thanks for the video! I'm getting my first Thai Constellation tissue culture this week and have been researching for hours on how to acclimate it correctly and your video is definitely the simplist and most straight forward. Can I ask if you soak the leca and rinse the stratum before putting the plant in? And if you do is that enough water or do you still add more to the reservoir at the bottom? I'm so paranoid about giving it root rot 😂😅
Aw so glad it can help! I soaked the leca, there’s no need to rinse stratum. I added a water reservoir on the bottom (just a bit) and would add more if needed. But since it’s receiving 100% humidity to start I didn’t find that I needed to top it off for a while. Hope this helps !
Thank you!
What is Myco?
Awesome video! Thank you! Can you say more about the hydrogen peroxide? Do you dilute it? Do you just dip the plant in a bowl of it?
I diluted it with water! It was a 1:1 ratio
@@leafletco Thank you! I have some Thai cons coming, and I want to get it right, lol. Did you rinse them off after dipping? Or just let dry and into the stratum?
@@jamesorr1200 I give it a quick rinse after it's been in the hydrogen peroxide and its placed into the stratum. i also use distilled water too!
@@leafletco Awesome. Not to sound redundant, but thank you. 🙂
@@jamesorr1200 Goodluck!!😀
Where do you shop the tissue cultures?
I bought them from a local seller in Canada and on Etsy
Do you put it on a heating mat?
Hi there ! No I did not put it on a heating mat.
merry everything and a happy always \o/
Likewise to you!
lol, cant believe you left the plant in for 6 mths , can agar last so long ?
😂I guess so. It acclimated just fine lol
As long as it doesn't dry out or use up all the sugar in the media.
