- Ever tried to use MTGPress to print some proxies and gotten an error saying the cards you're looking for don't exist, BUT YOU KNOW THEY EXIST!!?!??! Well here's your solution. Start printing out some proxies as soon as a card image is available with help from this handy video.
DISCLAIMER: For some reason the side bar of Google Docs didn't show up in the video, but if you follow along with me, you will very easily see what I'm talking about!

Honestly best video I found about mtg proxy’s lol
So an update on this I tried it and there was an error saying google restricted it. I found out if you click the image and right click go to image options and the bar on the side pops up go to size & rotation. Make the Width 2.5 and Height 3.5 when ur ready to print just make sure the scale is 100% in print options! Hope this helps.
You're planning on doing and actual video of this? would be super usefull! thanks!
Clickbait image: was looking forward to seeing your printer 🖨
Any thoughts on what's the best printer to print the cards?
I know this reply is late but maybe can help people in the future. From my research it seems to be photography inkjet printers.
Cannon Pixma would most likely best bang for buck quality
Around $300
Epson ecotank will get you more proxies per ink but heard is has some contrast issues with blues and black
Around 400-$450
If you want to go all out cannon Prograf 100 last I saw was around $900
Super all out. Looking at around $1200 for the cannon Prograf 1000. Unless you want extreme high quality sheets the size of poster.. do not recommend.
The art comes out fine but the text always looks duplicated or blurred.
Your cursor/pointer was outside the video when you were choosing the card size.Is there a chance that it will print the wrong size?how did google recognize the size of mtg card size?
Hello are you still interested in this? Right-click on the map and select the size.
3:44 - whats the size ????
2.5 width 3.5 height, in inches
Your side bar for doing the card size is off screen my dude, i would love to know which setting to change to 2.5
Oh snap! I was planning on redoing these videos now that I have way more video making knowledge, now I know I really need to lol
In inches - width is 2.5 and height is 3.5.
@@cyrexianmana Thanks so much for your swift reply.
You could do all that nonsense or just get on moxfield at your local public library and not waste your own paper/ink
