    I enjoyed your video. 👍 I love the Cricut Joy and I really love the new Joy Xtra. I have a Maker as well. I have an Easy press and rarely ever use it as I found having to exert such effort pressing it made more sense to buy a swing away heat press. I have enjoyed using that machine much better.

      The 3 doesn’t require a cutting mat. How did it do cutting without the mat? I thought while buying stuff it has to say “smart cut” for the 3. Or is that not necessary?

    • @crafterssupport
      @crafterssupport  Před 5 měsíci

      Great question. If you use a 100% polyester, light colored shirt no. If you use cotton, you will need the HTV to give the infusible ink something to infuse into. Thank you for watching.

    • @crafterssupport
      @crafterssupport  Před rokem +2

      Great question. It does need to be a high polyester count base. So glitter HTV and glow in the dark HTV have that high count you need for the infusible ink to transfer to. Thank you for watching.

      @@crafterssupport how do you check how much polyester is in the vinyl? Thank you!

    • @crafterssupport
      @crafterssupport  Před rokem +2

      You will have to read the labels on the vinyl that you buy. Also, if you are looking for a blank fabric to put it on, make sure it's at least 60% polyester and 40% cotton . I found that it is the best combination. 100% polyester gives the absolute best color, in my opinion.

      Unfortunately, you can not use white iron on. It has to have a high polyester count. You get that with the glow in the dark and glitter iron on.
