We CANT CONTROL WHAT POPS IN OUR HEAD. But you can TRAIN yourself to THINK DIFFERENTLY.
It takes discipline & practice.

Your feelings and thoughts are NOT FACTS. When thoughts and feelings are allowed to run free, they'll PENETRATE your inner being and mess with you.
BUT when you set up a system to deal with your thoughts and feelings you'll start to DEFLECT harmful ones.
Right now your mind is like a strainer/seive that lets your thoughts and feelings through.
We're going to build a WALL OF TRUTH that will keep out FALSE, HARMFUL Thoughts
The system to change before u indulge in them
S - See it, Recognize it.
W - Why am I thinking/feeling this?
O - Say it out Loud
R - Is This Real? Is it True?
D - Defeat it. Call it out as a lie.
F - What are the real FACTS/TRUTH?
M - Make it your own. Say it out Loud. Repeat it
S- recognize your thoughts. E.g "I'll never be successful"
*Write* it down (especially if it's recurring thought)
W - take this as an Object. Pick it up and look at it apart from yourself.
Think _about what happened_ before you got this thought. (Your circumstances trigger your thoughts)
It makes your mind indulge in the victim/persecutor persona
O - thoughts and feelings shrink in our minds. Bring it out of your head and hear it for what it is (to truly judge your thought) when you bring things out of darkness to light you can see what they truly are.
R - is this real? Is it true?
"Finally brothers; whatever is TRUE, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is excellently praise worthy, think about such things" Phillipians 4:8
• Ask your trusted loved one (that really KNOWS you) "is this TRUE?"
ask yourself would I say this to my own child? (Its easy to say mean things to ourself but saying to our own child really brings words into perspective) and it's easier to spot the lie and do something about it. ..
D - Defeat it. Call it out as a lie.
Now that you recognize the lying thought you can defeat it out loud.
"I head you self doubt. But now you are telling me lies. I'm building my life on what's real and true. So therefore, the lies are irrelevant to me. I'm choosing to shift my thought instead."
F - Facts/Truth.
Ask your loved one to tell you the truth about yourself.
You need this objective truth about yourself to defeat the lies. Focus on the truth about who you REALLY are.
Use the truth in scripture about your identity and value in Christ
M - make it your own
Say it slowly, out loud until it really sinks in.
Don't skip the part about not saying it out loud. It's not crazy. Sometimes you need to hear something out loud so your brain has enough opportunity to start believing it.

The way Angelina acts this character reminds me of someone I fell in love with secretly, who I could never be with, but I saw so much more in her than every other, all the realities to her actions, the behind the scenes understandings. And she will forever have a place in my heart. From the moment I met her, I knew I had to see her again. And out of luck, I did. I wish I never met her that first time, bc it hurts to no longer be within her presence. 💔
I finally watching Gia. Thanks for the recommendation beautiful people. It was super sad though 😔 She was so young and finally free of Heroin but died of AIDS back in those days, it was so horrible. I love how she said to her gf Linda, knowing she was about to die "You know what I think? I think there's a reason for everything. And I think that there's a plan for everyone. Heroin did exactly what she is singing about. It took and is still taking everything and anything I ever loved. The love of my life. 14 year and I lose her to an overdose. My daughter got taken from us. My house close family members anything you say I bet it took it from me. I still love it and it out ways the loss to be numb from all this dark and evil shit I went through.
