I’ve had a bit more time to mull this topic over since filming and I believed it just comes down to me not thinking what I have to say adds any value into a conversation. I see people constantly speaking over each other, as if they have they more important thing to say. These people, in many conversations I’ve observed, seem to care more about speaking than listening, and since I believe that the universe seeks balance, people with more quiet and observant personalities balance out all the talking. I’m curious to hear what your opinions on this topic are from your perspective, either as the “quiet kid” or the person who feels uncomfortable around them.

Very relatable video. Everything you said, I think about. By the time I get though all the exhausting inner dialogue of what I should say, how I should say it, is there a point to saying it, how what I say will be perceived in social settings, they’ve already switched the subject to something new. I’m just a great listener, the “quiet person”, with secret quirks that randomly catches people by surprise.

Omg this explained my entire childhood and semi adult hood 😭 and now i’m learning to speak up more and add to the conversation irl ! Thats why i started a youtube too, i can talk and not be talked over or looked at like “why is the quiet girl talking” ?
