- Singapore Airlines asked me to try out their business class ultra long-range flight. It's the first time ever nonstop flight from San Francisco to Singapore. But before boarding the plane, I stopped by the lounge area, and they make a delicious, darn good burger! And you can order as much food as you want! On my flight to Singapore, there were a lot of great meal choices to choose from, and the food was pretty good for airplane foods.

Flew on the SINGAPORE-LA-SINGAPORE 15 hours nonstop premium economy in Nov 2018 and did the "Booked the Cook" meals. It was so scrumptious and your meals came up much earlier than the regular trolley. Highly recommended! Also, the stewards addressed you by your name and remembered your drinks preference. Talk about premium service. When I landed in LA and was having a burger near the airport, one of the friendly SIA staff actually came over and said hello. Blew my mind away. It was clearly not a case of hello and goodbye at the gates. Very impressed with the SIA staff service. Thumbs up!
Was there free wifi for premium economy?
It's not one of the best airlines in the world for no reason. SIA is always at the top few. It comes at a price tho, but it'll make every penny spent worth it.

@TTVer9 For short transits, the cheaper flights are not too bad, just gotta put up with the couple of hours. For long flights, most international airline prices are similar. Your last two sentences perfectly describes what you're paying for, which doesn't exist on cheap flights. I've never flown with AA, but I've been hearing bad reviews about them most of the time.

It still amazes me how they manage to cater for so many different choices for a relatively small amount of passengers in business.

Actually, I take Singapore Airlines regularly, and there are generally about a hundred business class folks per plane, not to mention that there are multiple planes. I'm not sure what the frequency is for each airport, but even the South Africa one has two a day.

Awesome vid Mikey! Around 2005-2007 I took a singapore airlines nonstop flight from new york to singapore, which actually held the world record for longest nonstop flight ever at the time. Service and food were both amazing! Haven't had the chance to fly singapore airlines since then but hopefully I get another opportunity soon!

Just started and cant even say how excited i am for the rest of this and for Europe!! Chinese food in Paris is MINDBLOWINGLY GOOD!!! Go to Sucrepice and get the rollcake!!!! PROMISE YOULL LOVE. Also carnet de voyage and auciel for hotpot but if you get hotpot get the one with crab!!!!

Hey Mike, I'm a french videographer living in Barcelona. I heard you are coming to Paris soon. If you're willing to travel to Bordeaux (city of wine) while you are in France I would be glad to give you some addresses and tips there. It's also 40 min flight from Barcelona and it would be a good way for you to experience something different (compared to Paris) to complete your "Frenchy experience" ;) .
