- I love Singapore Airlines, but after going on Qatar Airlines to Istanbul, I absolutely love this business class flight! It has been one of the best airline experiences I've ever had. Great food, amazing double beds, and the service was one of the best services I've had on an airline.

Believe it or not, the QSuite actually has pretty cheap fares (as far as business class is concerned)! You can fly roundtrip from Stockholm to Hong Kong for 1250 USD and Doha-Hong Kong will be in this plane...not saying that’s a small amount of money but it’s comparable to the price of coach for many last-minute tickets!
EDIT: I screwed up, it’s 1250 EUR (1400 USD). Still pretty attractive, though!

God I love and Miss Qatar airways. Not sure if they still do this, but in economy they'd give out these massive lunchboxes of freebies and free plushies to kids. Such fond memories on those planes. The Economy food was great, too!
Also something I find a little chuckle-worthy, almost all the flight attendants seemed to be Filipino. The Filipino community in Qatar (at least when I was there) was always welcoming and awesome. I miss the place.

Actually, Qatar’s economy food is great too. Lots of airlines have great food in Business Class, but very few in Economy.
Smity Werbenmanjensen tbh in economy I only enjoyed the dessert maybe because I hate olives and most of the dishes had them but that’s what I enjoyed most

I manage a shop that builds a portion of the aircraft that you're flying in. Qatar Airlines is the biggest customer of the A350-900 and they are pretty particular on what they buy. Nice to see the outcome. Glad you enjoyed it.

I think he loved the chopped up warm gooey inside as opposed to the stuff he dipped it in... was that chimichurri? it looked like it. Or maybe the empanada crust was the outside he didnt like? My guess it was the chimichurri sauce though, which was bad enough it momentarily overpowered the broccoli! Plus it was mashed up with cheese and fried in a wrapper...that's the most palatable form of broccoli!

They do have occasional specials worth taking and their miles system is amazing. Even their economy is comfy and they treat you with respect. I've flown bith business and economy with them. Once I'm able to travel again it's the airlines I'll be using most
On certain ones, they have suites that are a huge upgrade from business class!

Yes I totally agree, Qatar flight attendants are amazing and the food over the top.
This is awesome! Qatar airline is actually a 5 star airline if you check out the airline ratings. I only travelled with them once, on economy but it was a very positive experience. Food was by far better than most other airlines and the stewardesses were always friendly and attentive. But I’m definitely going to try their business class one day!
i swear even if the plane is crashing at a nose dive angle while mike is eating, he would still continue to eat as the plane is nose diving.
I flew Qatar business class for the first time in 2015 and no other airlines has ever gotten my money for the long haul flight since then. Their foods, their services are out of this world!

I'm Singaporean and have flown both SIA and Qatar, economy class only, and I prefer Qatar too. Upholstery looks and feels cleaner & newer, great entertainment system and awesome food. Service feels less plastic too.
I flew Economy on Qatar to Copenhagen and that already felt poshy to me. Business class must be ACE! 💜

My very first flight was with Qatar Airways. My dad and I were one of the last few to board and we were UPGRADED to Business class. We also got free Pajamas, set of Salvatore Ferragamo perfume with pouch and some expensive brand Chocolates. I regret not trying more of their meals and coffee.

Awesome! Mike got to try Qatar’s Qsuites! My favorite airline...there’s no comparison to what they are currently offering.
Qatar Airways has the best overall product. Emirates advertises a lot and Etihad has the Residence, but everything about Qatar Airways from their Main Cabin to their business class is amazing. Even in their Main Cabin their food was so amazing. i dont remember leaving a single item on my tray, and on other carriers there's always something i dont enjoy.
Oh and the best experience on the ground with Qatar Airways is their app. if you download the app and save your itinerary to it, you will get notifications on when your flight is open for boarding. this has saved me from missing a flight in Doha because that airport is so amazing that you easily lose track of time with all the shops and free computers and TV and quiet rooms in Hamad International Airport
I’ve flown them several items in business, and they do as you say have the best business class food, by far. Qatar has the best business class overall, but the food is really what makes it extremely great.

I flew Qatar Airways Business Class from Kuala Lumpur to Doha and to Rome. Best flight experience ever! Qsuite was amazing, the Quisine (I see what you did there Qatar Airways) was phenomenal as well.

Adam S you can get Qatar business class round trip fares for as little as $1400 if you’re flexible which is dirt cheap for business class.
Qatar airways doesn't actually have a first class in most of its newer aircrafts. QA I guess only has first class in their A380 aircrafts. But the Qsuite is itself a product that equals first class products of other airlines. That's why Qatar airways calls it "First in Business"
Recent international business class flights, all done with award miles, have included Air France, American, Delta, Cathay Pacific and Qatar. All except Delta were good, but Qatar blows them all away...superb service, great food and wine.

Eh, the problem when only few companies controlled a monopoly in a large market. They make enough profit from their monopoly in the US domestic market, so they don't have try to appeal too much to the international market. Meanwhile, Singapore/Qatar and many of the best airlines have to set high strandards to appeal to the international community since they don't have a large enough domestic market.
You see this in many aspects of American economy like fast foods, internet, formerly cars (they only step up when oversea companies succesfully move into the US market), and such more.

I flew business class on Emirates Air a few years back.. very similar cabin layout. It was by far the best experience I've ever had on a flight, and was definitely appreciated when doing a 13 hour haul!

I was in the same terminal 2 years ago :). Such a beauty. I'm pretty sure that was terminal 8 and it was super quiet. Another reason to love Qatar Airways
