That bird you nearly fell over just as you got off, the black and white one, is called in ibis but in aussie slang we call it a Bin Chicken because you always find them on top of bins scavenging for food. I'm a local and done the sail-in to Sydney Harbour 10 times, and I still get up at 5am to see it, just such a beautiful journey up the harbour. It's a joy to see tourists coming to Sydney again, after we were closed off to the world for years. Heh, last time I went on a cruise I took a day off work the day before and went to Icebergs!

I’ve lived an hour away from Sydney all my life and I just adored seeing your love and joy for our city! It’s nice to see it from a tourists perspective as we often taken our home towns/cities for granted. I’m going to try some of those restaurants you went too! Loved it! So glad you made it to Pitt St, The Strand Arcade and QVB as well.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit to my hometown! And even better that you got an overnight stay as well to really explore. Not often you get that on a cruise. It's funny, I used to work in North Sydney and so for years I would travel on a train over the Harbour Bridge every day and not think anything of it. It's so cool to see someone so excited about something you take for granted. Even now, I love having visitors so we can actually do touristy things in our own city that you'd never otherwise do because life is so busy. When you return, there's lots of things to do: Explore Darling Harbour, climb the bridge (or at least the pylon museum), see a show at one of the theatres, eat your way through Chinatown, go out to Olympic Park, visit the Blue Mountains, do the Coogee to Bondi walk, take the ferry to Taronga zoo or Manly etc etc.
Aside from the fact that I LOVE your videos, I keep thinking what a unique memory of your lives to have for yourselves and your future children and grandchildren. Thank you again for including us in your journeys.

I love the idea of a cruise so I can see lots of places in one trip but I think getting off amd stressing about making it back on time would finish me off. Looks fabulous

I live in Manly, the other side of the harbour, and when the Arcadia was in port, floating in the middle, I went to dinner at the rocks and waved to your ship as I went by in the ferry. I had no idea you’d be getting married the next day. How lovely for you.
I’ve just started watching you on u tube and I’ve loved all your videos so far. We did a 52 night cruise to Sydney at the end of last year and spent Christmas in Sydney. Watching you explore has been amazing, bringing back so many memories. We have been a few times and there is so much to do and stand you should go back when you get the chance. Tasmanian here, now residing in Melbourne for years, been to many countries around the world, been to every Australian Capital city, bar Sydney unfortunately, now after watching this, I feel I have seen it through your eyes. Brogan, I used to work in school and it was hard to get some kids to read a book. If they said they didn’t like a book, I would tell them to swap it (being forced to continue reading a book they hated would dicourage reading in my eyes) - and I’d advise you to do the same. Don’t waste time you’ll never get back on reading a book you hate. Look up the story online to satisfy your curiosity and move on to another book. Loving the vlogs of your amazing trip and congratulations to you both on your marriage :) x

Any other north easterners always have a double take as the sydney harbour birdge looks sooooo much like the tyne brigde? Lovley blog and such a nice thing to start the day with!
Sydney Harbour Bridge is very much inspired by the Tyne Bridge. They share the same designers and builders. Sydney's bridge actually commenced construction before the Tyne bridge, but completed a couple of years after it because of it's size.
After you talked about spiders, you were walking back to the ship and I saw the strap that comes through the top of Benji’s hat looked like a black spider 😂 I was like OMG! Then realized it was his strap (phew!) 😂😂
Loved watching this we were in Sydney in November luckily for a week .loved watching you going to the places we visited. We were in Australia for a month before moving onto Australia. We used to see the cruise ships everyday and thought it was odd when you said you were there for 2 nights as all the ships leave as it cost 500,000 dollars to anchor overnight apparently. Another strange thing was that we were watching another vlogger,the mcmaster, and he was walking around Sydney the same day as you, we spotted you ship and also he showed the writing in the sky

Love that you went to a bookshop! It’s one of my favourite things to do when I go abroad. Hardbacks in paperback, the flippy pages and the fact they stay open without you having to bend the spine. Wish I had that copy of Iron Flame too!

What a way to enter Sydney….I would be emotional too with all those iconic landmarks in front of me…… Love Benji’s face masks and napkins….😂😂😂 So nice when the ship docks right in the city… we love popping on and off the ship..after all you’ve paid for everything on the ship….we usually buy some souvenirs,tea n cake or soft drinks in port. Love that you went to a bookshop! It’s one of my favourite things to do when I go abroad. Hardbacks in paperback, the flippy pages and the fact they stay open without you having to bend the spine. Wish I had that copy of Iron Flame too!
Can highly recommend the ferry across to Manly Beach. Another iconic place to visit. ❤

So nice when the ship docks right in the city… we love popping on and off the ship..after all you’ve paid for everything on the ship….we usually buy some souvenirs,tea n cake or soft drinks in port.
