    The paper size does not matter, if you want to make a 32x32 one you just fold the squares once more to have 32x32 squares then make the pyramid bit, if yo ya re doing this I recommend doubling the size of your paper

    I made it in an hour and 20 minutes with white card stock paper. I'm very happy with the result. Thank you for the tutorial!

    made it but couldn't manage the stairs still turned out great though. maybe do a short video showing how to do the stairs in more depth as several people in the comments mentioned it being hard to understand :)

    For people who is geting confused about a nother tutorial you don't need one because you do the exactly the same with the 16 grided one as the 32 gridded one only more crimp folds for the stars and piramid.

    You need the right kind of paper. Thin, durable, holds creases well, stiff. Where you get that, I don't know.

    Jo Nakashima, you are a GREAT artist !!! I thought there would be some cutting and gluing involved, but you folded so adroitly - that just folding was sufficient. I think I will need a lot of practice at simple Origami before I try the above project. Your folds were so neat, so accurate and you always folded in a perfect straight lines - that alone takes many years of continuous practice. Thank you, Maestro !!@#@!@ I wish you also showed a picture of yourself - DONT BE SO HUMBLE !!

    Couple of years ago in grade 4 I made this for my history project about ancient Mesopotamia as this kinda looks like a Ziggurat ( A Mesopotamian temple ).

    It won't be called origami anymore but perhaps to replace the stairs, those struggling with this part could try to make the squiggly thing by folding front and back on another piece of paper and stick it on the pyramid

    Great model Love it! Anything with major prefolding is tough. Took me at least 1 1/2 hours. Without the help of aliens (Quiet paul! you don't count). Steps are a bit of a struggle pushing out from the inside with a darning needle helped. The hardest model I've done since the 'Jackstone'. Thank you for a clear video.

    i think this also looks like a ziggurat because of the flat top look unless he makes so much squares on top the top will look more pointy then it looks more like a pyramid

    A picture says a thousand words. This video is running at 30fps therefore he is saying 3000 words a second. Hes good enough at showing us what to do and that shoeld be enough.

    you can use any size grid i'm gonna try a 64X64 grid at some point
