I was born in 2002 and I love 1920s-2000s music blues, rock, heavy, reggae, jazz, swing, rockabilly, pop, etc. People always tell me why I feel so nostalgic about eras and times I never grew up in, well in reality it's because I really did grew up on these eras of music. My dad would show me cassettes of MTV, Top of the pops (Jimmy Savile days included ), Ed Sullivan show and American Bandstand with Dick Clarke (RIP) and Freddy Cannon and I would just sing along as a kid. This doesn't include road trips with my dad, the movies he would show me and the parties. I'm proud to say I lived through these eras in my own way. I also enjoy the music of today since it will allow me to build my own identity of my generation. You folk grew up on some great music and times not gonna lie. Loved this! The lead singer definitely reminded me of Gene Pitney, who was one of my absolute favourites back in the 60’s. There’s a channel on Freeview tv in the UK ( called That’s 60’s) that plays 60’s music all day. There are some stinkers, but mostly it’s listening to great songs that allow you to take a brief journey back to your childhood/youth, which for me was a very happy time. 😊

I am a 13 year old and I live in France but I spend every summer in Long Island, where my dad would play this song pretty often, so every time i hear it, it brings back a huge wave of memories and nostalgia and I’m really lucky I get to experience those memories and nostalgia every summer. I am a 13 year old and I live in France but I spend every summer in Long Island, where my dad would play this song pretty often, so every time i hear it, it brings back a huge wave of memories and nostalgia and I’m really lucky I get to experience those memories and nostalgia every summer. I guess I can’t call it nostalgia if I still experience it but it just reminds me of when I was little and it really warms my heart.
