  • A documentary film on Tibetan Sweater Business, produced by the department of Information and International Relations of the Central Tibetan Administration. This documentary film explores the relationship between Tibetan and Indian hosiery factory owners, commonly known among the Tibetans as 'Lala,' for the last more than 50 years. It also tries to understand when and how Indo-Tibetan Hosiery Association was established and the condition of the past and present sweater business of Tibetans in exile.

Sir, I have a humble request to your channel that if you kindly provide sub-title in English language at least in short form, specially in any documentary or on any interview or short film, a larger audience could have experienced the real struggle, and determination for their hope and aspirations. LONG LIVE TIBET. FREE TIBET. Thank you.

elegant traditional Tibetan designs would sell welling many markets. Why not use the tradition of cloth weaving already established for centuries in this production???

As most of tibetan people staying in India doing Ludhiana business. If you make A to Z video about ludhiana business like how much money invest in initial stage, how to talk with Ludhiana lala, address of lala shop and how to transfer to destination market and other helpful tips will be very helpful.

Tibetans are like prisoners in India rather than refugees. They cannot become indian citizens nor can do anything for living. World would think that india is generous to tibetans but that is just a surface level view , in reality they cannot get jobs after graduations from college, cannot do business except street vending, they cannot travel abroad because they cannot own any documents to travel like passport until very recently. many are put to prison for buying fake indian passport including many monks. Now PM modi says u can become indian citizens but cannot live in refugee camps ! . So, it is just like not giving citizenship because they have their houses built through their savings. It is better to return to Tibet under chinese rule. In china, if u speak chinese there is no discriminations of any kind. India is not a place for refugees.

The Indians are not our ally. These people still haven’t heard of plumbing.
