Great new album by the guys!!! Has a great variety of dance, ballads, and pop tunes that most fans will find a "favorite" song to love! Mine are: The Universe Alone, Butterfly Girl, and Cinderella Ride! Thanks to Duran Duran for all the great music over the last 30+ years.....NICK, JOHN, SIMON, & ROGER YOU ROCK MY WORLD!!!! 😀😀😀
It's going on, like, five months since I first listened to Paper Gods. The album has really grown on me. It's really refreshing to hear this side of a band I pretty much grew up with. All the songs are awesome! Love the groove that Nile brings to the tracks, and the beautiful vocals from Keisha and Janelle too.
the albums cool but i dig what they are jamming in the video, more authentic instrumentally! id love the next album to really go back and do things more raw and older and stop trying to adapt to a new gen, i am 19 and i love the old stuff more than anything!
sometimes its the label they have to make happy , they scrapped the whole "reportage" album cuz label was not satisfied and it was a political rock album.
there is no kanye in the album ,its just ben hudson has worked with him thats it i guess the record company wants them to say his name to get the word out about the album .As it wants to sell the album to the younger crowd , fans will buy this album regardless.
Not as good as AYNIN but good ! The worse track for me on AYNIN is AYNON with nicks sqreaching synth on it , ruins the song for me . Loved the live tracks from paper gods in manchester uk nov 15 : )

I loved Paper Gods but the only time I heard Roger was on Northern lights, I missed that old style thwack on the drums, my only criticism :/

because DD never repeat styles or albums just like bowie they have stated that numerous times.
have you heard the b-sides ?? they are better than album tracks.

I couldn’t get to love this album, a couple of good tracks but too techno over all, over produced and missing guitars. Sorry. 🙁
